Tex is a creature born of magic to serve gods and summoners, whatever their goal. They're familiar with traveling across worlds and dimensions and are regularly called to new worlds to do the bidding of their 'master', but this time, they're summoned to a world unlike anything they've known before with a leveling system and 'players'. With their power sealed and their sponsor seemingly incompetent, Tex will struggle and be forced to walk a messy, convoluted path in this new world to complete their missions, if they even manage it at all.

The Traveling Servant of Gods

I paced in the cell as i waited. I had no way of breaking the magic barrier that reinforced the cell i was in, if not for that magic i would be able to escape with brute force. I knew as a non-resident i had the ability to cancel enchantments but i had learned that it only affected obtainable items. I was stuck waiting for the inevitable. I didn't know what their laws were for murderers and so i didn't know what my punishment would be once it was discovered i had killed humans. Additionally, i would only have the advantage if i were kept in the shade. Would i get a trial? Would i be publicly executed? Would i be sent to an actual prison with a life sentence? There were too many uncertainties. 


I didn't have enough information about this world. As i thought about my dire situation, i remembered that 'new' features had been added to my system. Opening the dull window, i wanted to see if any of the new features would help in such a situation.
