Chapter fifty eight

As the car drove down the street, Kayden watched the buildings rush by absent-mindedly. Los Vegas is truly a beautiful place in the early mornings, if not for the fact that they had more pressing matters at hand Kayden would have taken his time to admire the beautiful city, but as it is he has other things in mind.

They had left for Los Vegas at 8:00pm friday and had touched ground at exactly 6:00am the next day. Kayden was properly exhausted and it would have done him good if he had just listened to Bryson and napped on the plane. He had flown first class like always and had his own private suite with nothing or no one to disturb him but even with that Kayden just couldn't sleep.

He just couldn't stop thinking about Everette.

They reached the hotel he would be staying in soon enough, it was one of the hotels he owned, he had made them close it down for the week. He needed his privacy and maybe the peace quiet would do him good and he would finally get some sleep.
