CHAPTER 36

When Jenna went in to see her father no one else went, leaving her alone with him, since they knew how close they were. Carla closed the door to the room, sighing deeply and letting her happiness and peace of mind show that her beloved son was alive and her beloved granddaughter was inside.

Jenna sobbed from the immense joy of seeing him alive, she caressed his face with love, but that love was more of a woman's than a daughter's, she kissed his forehead or what was visible of him there, as he was covered with bandages from his gunshot wound.

"I love you, this is a miracle of love, you know with what I've heard, it seems we don't have the same blood, those outbursts of that Luiggi guy, I heard when they were talking about that possibility and if it's true I would thank life that it's that way so I can love you like I want to."
