 Stuart is a lone photographer based in Dunfermline, Scotland.
 His specialty; post-mortem photography.
 At the beginning of the 20th century, the custom of photographing the dead is at its dawn, but Stuart is an old-fashioned war veteran. He keeps the practice alive.
 His life starts changing after his brother's death. Stuart suddenly gets flashbacks of the past long forgotten. The dead subjects on his photos turn out distorted, as if moved...
 He meets Regina, a photography enthusiast herself. The two engage themselves in photographing crime scenes. 
 More strange occurrences appear in their photos. Stuart is scared that someone is threatening him and his distant family. He aims to find a rational explanation while the ghosts from the photos are haunting him in his dreams.
 They're warning him there's something more dangerous than them he should be afraid of...

The Phantasm Camera Riddle

Erwing´s family greeted Stuart as always. Taught by experience, Stuart prepared a whole speech with which he was going to explain his lady escort, but it turned out to be unnecessary. Louise came to Olive as soon as they appeared on the doorstep. “Hello, I´m Louise, what´s your name?” 


“I´m Olive. Nice to meet you, Louise!” It was so different from Regina´s visit that Stuart was dumbfounded. Olive smiled like an innocent girl spared of outlandish spectres and Louise giggled like an ordinary child who´s seen ghosts only in imaginary games. But while Louise´s parents interpreted their daughter´s behaviour as a child´s instinct and a good sign that Olive was far better than Stuart´s last companion, Stuart and Carol exchanged knowledgeable looks. A kind of spiritual current passed from Olive to Louise. They knew as soon as they met that they´ve both seen beyond this world.
