When Hua Jing was still in her youth, she had fallen in love with a man, Alexander Sterling. Cindy was just about to leave the office when her phone buzzed with a text from Nova.

"Hey Cindy! Can we meet for drinks tonight to discuss the designs? I have a show tomorrow and can't make it for our lunch appointment."

Cindy hesitated for a moment, considering her plans with Alexander. She quickly texted him to ask if it was okay.

Alexander's response was prompt and understanding. "Of course, it's important. We can have dinner another night. Go knock 'em dead. -A"

Cindy smiled, appreciating his support. She texted Nova back, agreeing to meet at a popular bar downtown. After a quick change of plans, she grabbed her things and headed to the bar.

The bar was buzzing with activity when Cindy arrived. She spotted Nova at a corner table, waving at her with a big smile. Cindy waved back and made her way through the crowd. As she walked, she noticed a man at the bar eyeing her intently. His gaze was unsettling, and she quickened her pace.
