Cindy Richards walked slowly towards the house and passed by Alexander Sterling without acknowledging him. She was so mad but she did not know what to think. If Alexander liked Joanna Bloom that much then why did he marry her?
She knew Alexander had only married her after Carmen Richards asked him to and maybe he did not want to marry her at all! Alexander held her by the hand and turned her around, "Talk to me…"
He was very worried. Ever since they got married, he often had dreams that she would one day leave and never come back and this made him very scared. If she left him then he did not know what he would do. When he was waiting back then, he felt as if his dreams would come true and Cindy Richards would truly not come back.
Cindy Richards saw the hand holding hers and felt disgusted. She quickly pushed him away and said slowly, "Our contract does not say I have a curfew so if I want to come back whenever I want then you should not ask me about it!"
He was out there having lunch with every bee and butterfly yet she could not even spend some time with her colleagues? Alexander looked at his hand that had been thrown away in a daze. He could feel something snap within him and her words only made it worse. He reined his temper and asked, "Where is this coming from? Did something happen?"
Cindy Richards was so mad that she laughed out loud. She quietly looked at him, his furrowed brows and a face that looked worried. She felt as if his expression was laughable. Why was he pretending in front of her?
She looked at him steadily, "I just went out with some of my friends, is that such a bad thing to do? You know I need to find someone soon. Our marriage will end soon anyway so don't be so anxious!" Alexander finally snapped and pulled her towards him and hugged her tightly. The anger could be seen on his impeccable face, "What did you just say?"
Cindy Richards felt like crying. Why was he hugging her with those hands? Her tears fell pitifully and she sobbed like a child. Alexander was at a loss. He gently wiped those tears away and looked at her, "Can you please tell me what is wrong?" They had been fine. They had been peaceful so what destroyed such peaceful ambience that they had created.
Cindy Richards felt very wronged. Alexander had been someone she had wanted yet no matter how much she tried, she could never really hold him. First it was Carmen Richards and now a Joanna Bloom had appeared. She had hoped that during their one year marriage then he would at least be faithful but he was not and Cindy Richards thought that she was not enough. She asked suddenly, "Why?"
Alexander did not understand. Cindy Richards suddenly hugged him tightly while crying out, "What do they have that I don't?" She always thought she was quite pretty and although she could be very childish at times then Alexander would not mind but she suddenly realized that he did mind, she had never once meant anything to her.
Alexander hugged her tightly in his chest, "How can there be anyone else? They don't matter; it has always only been you!" Cindy Richards felt quite bad about herself but she still did not let him go. She hugged, drowning herself in his warmth. They had never once been this close and for a moment, she forgot about all her grievances and pulled herself closer to him.
There was a moon so bright dancing in the sky and there was a garden full of flowers beside them. Cindy Richards pulled away and looked at Alexander's face. He was so handsome, bathed in the moonlight that touched his features ever so delicately. He was unimaginably handsome and Cindy Richards could never look away whenever she saw his face. It had a magnetic power that drew her closer and closer to him.
His lips were very thin and beautiful that she often wondered how they would taste if they kissed. She was in a daze because his eyes were boring down on her. Alexander looked at her hungrily. Her features were etched so carefully inside his heart and not even once did he forget a single thing. She had a mole at the bottom of her right ear, that he remembered. Her eyes curved when she was angry, that too he remembered and her lips were pouted when she was disappointed and that too he knew.
He suddenly lifted his hands and pushed away the strands of hair that had stuck on her face. Her face was tear stricken and this made him feel pain. She was his everything and he did not like it when something bad happened to her. He did not know if it was okay to do what he was planning to but just when he was feeling conflicted, her soft, plump lips fell on his and for a moment, his mind went completely blank.
She was kissing him softly and dedicatedly. He froze for a moment. He had wished for this for a very long time but he did not know what she would do if he did it. He was scared that she would leave if he was affectionate towards her. He slowly wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her close. Her hands snaked around his neck and her legs lifted. He deepened the kiss and it is everything he had ever wanted. He thought about it for so long and now that it was actually happening, he took all he could.
He deepened the kiss and Cindy Richards answered with the same passion. The two of them did not really know that their hearts were burning for each other. Alexander did not know that Cindy Richards had liked her for a very long time and Cindy Richards also did not know that Alexander had liked only her for a very long time. They had a lot of misunderstandings that kept their hearts from searching for each other yet when they held each other like this, nothing else mattered.
The moon danced down on them highlighting the perfect image they created. Alexander knew this was the alcohol in Cindy Richards's system acting but he did not care. If he could have even a small piece of her then he would be grateful for the rest of his life. Cindy Richards slowly pulled away and whispered, "Alexander…"
