The moon was shining brightly tonight. Two people were walking side by side in a small garden, one woman and a man. They were not holding hands but their backs moved unanimously.
Alexander had draped his coat over Cindy's back as the night was cold. His coat was very big and warm. Cindy felt warmth pooling not just around her body but her heart as well.
She could not help but recall what Alexander had said in there about the woman he liked. He had liked her when he was only five years old. Now that she recalled, her mother had told her about Alexander holding her when she was just a baby.
Carmen had also told her that Alexander liked coming over to hold her even if it meant forcing his father to bring him over.
If Alexander had been five then it meant Carmen was two years old. It was impossible for Carmen to be the one he loved then so the one he had always loved was…her!
