Violet smiled, her eyes twinkling. "And this year will be even more special because you're with us. We'll make sure you feel at home and enjoy every moment."

The dinner continued with lively conversation and laughter. Cindy felt a deep sense of belonging as she listened to stories about past cruises and family adventures. Despite her initial nervousness, she felt welcomed and embraced by the Sterlings.

As dessert was served, Cindy turned to Violet with a question. "Violet, what are some of the highlights of the cruise? Any memorable moments?"

Violet chuckled, her eyes shining with fond memories. "There are so many! One year, Alexander won the family talent show with his piano performance. Another time, we had a themed costume party, and everyone dressed up as their favorite historical figures. But I think the most memorable moments are the simple ones—sitting on the deck, watching the sunset, and sharing stories with each other."
