The woman closed the folder and leaned back in her chair, the red of her lips standing out starkly against the pale complexion of her face. "Just remember, Timothy—our little arrangement stays between us. No one else needs to know how these designs came into your possession."
Timothy nodded, a glint of greed in his eyes. "Of course. I wouldn't dream of betraying your trust."
The woman's smile remained fixed as she watched him, her gaze unblinking. "See that you don't. Now, go. I'll be in touch when the time comes."
Timothy gave a quick nod and turned to leave, but as he reached the door, he paused, glancing back at the woman. "And don't forget—"
But before he could finish, the woman's voice cut through the air, sharp and commanding. "You'll get what you deserve, Timothy. Now, go."
The finality in her tone left no room for argument, and Timothy quickly exited the room, leaving the woman alone with the stolen designs.
