Lead the way

Cindy quickly slid into the passenger seat, her curiosity piqued. As Alexander settled in behind the wheel, he shot her a playful glance before starting the engine. The car smoothly pulled out of the parking lot, merging with the evening traffic. Cindy watched as the city lights flickered on, one by one, painting the skyline in warm hues of orange and pink as the sun dipped below the horizon.

She couldn't help but steal glances at Alexander, who remained focused on the road, his expression calm yet filled with a hint of mystery. "Where are we going?" she finally asked, unable to contain her curiosity any longer.

Alexander smirked but didn't take his eyes off the road. "You'll see. Just trust me."

Cindy smiled softly, letting herself relax into the seat. As night fell, the vibrant colors of the sunset were replaced by the glow of streetlights and neon signs. The city came alive with a different kind of energy, buzzing with the hum of nightlife.
