Bonus [Chapter 28]

As the group made their way towards the village, they passed hordes of villagers armed with various weapons, making their way to Arlong Park. As they walked, Luffy turned towards Johnny and Yosaku and spoke.

"You two go and make sure the villagers don't do anything stupid before I get there," Luffy said, making them nod before running after the villagers. Luffy and the rest of his crew continue on their way towards the village, where Luffy can feel Nami's aura.

When they got there, they saw Nami kneeling on the ground with a dagger in her hand as she clawed at the tattoo on her shoulder while crying. What happened next caused everyone's eyes to widen. Nami pointed the dagger at his shoulder and stabbed him, shouting Arlong's name over and over again.

"Arlong! Arlong! Arlong! Arlong!" Nami screamed while stabbing her shoulder every time she said his name. Just as she was about to stab her shoulder again, Luffy turned his body into lightning and teleported behind her, where he caught her hand before hse could stab her shoulder even deeper.

Nami turned and looked at Luffy with tears streaming down her face before she spoke in a soft voice. "Luffy," he said before dropping the dagger in his hand. "What do you want?" Nami asked while looking at the ground.

"You don't know anything." "You don't know what happened on this island for the last eight years," she said through tears.

"No, I don't know," said Luffy in an emotionless voice.

"This has nothing to do with you. "I told you to leave this place!" he said as he dug his fingers into the ground.

"Yep, you did say that," he said again in the same emotionless voice.

"So go! I told you to go! Get out of here! Nami screamed while throwing sand from the ground at Luffy, which, of course, he ignored. Nami then bent down on the ground with tears streaming down her face and blood flowing from her arms, while Luffy just looked at her crying without any emotion on his face.

Nami then turned around and looked at Luffy in the cold eyes before speaking in a weak voice. "Luffy, help me," said Nami. As he said that, Luffy reached his hand over his head and took off his straw hat and then placed it on Namu's head, causing Nami's eyes to widen as she remembered what that hat meant to Luffy.

"Hold this for me," said Luffy before turning around and walking back towards Usopp, Sanji, and Zoro. "Let's go," Luffy said to them.

"Good!" the three of them answered in unison before they started walking towards Arlong Park, leaving a sobbing Nami behind. The four of them walked for about five minutes without speaking a word, and the closer they got to Arlong Park, the darker the sky around Arlong headquarters became.

When they saw Arlong Park, Luffy and company saw a horde of villagers standing in front of the gate, which was blocked by Johnny and Yosaku. When Luffy was at a distance where the villagers could hear his voice, he spoke.

"Step aside," Luffy said, causing a crowd of villagers to open a path so Luffy and his crew could pass. When the group was in front of the large gate entrance to Arlong Park, Luffy looked at Usoop and spoke.

"Do you think we should knock?" Luffy asked jokingly, causing Usopp to laugh before he answered.

"Umm, let me think... no!" said Usopp before he started laughing with Luffy. Luffy then made his way to the gate and coated his fist with Armament Haki before he punched the large gate and shattered it.

When the gate shattered, thick dust immediately flew up, preventing those inside from seeing who was outside and those outside from also being able to see inside. When Luffy smashed the gate, the villagers' eyes widened like dinner plates, seeing the power Luffy possessed.

When the dust finally cleared, everyone saw the Fishmen standing around an even larger Fishman sitting on a white beach chair and staring at Luffy and the group of villagers with wide eyes.

"What is that.." said Arlong, surprised to see his gate destroyed by one person who didn't seem to be using a weapon. Luffy dusted off his captain's coat before he looked at the fishmen and spoke.

"Now, which one of you is named Arlong?" Luffy asked while looking at the fishermen with emotionless eyes.

"Arlong?" asked the shark Fishman, sitting on a white beach chair. "That just happens to be my name," he said.

"Good, then you can call me Luffy," Luffy replied, standing in front of the group with Zoro to his right and Sanji to his left while Usopp hid behind the crumbling wall.

"Luffy?" Arlong asked from his position in the chair. "And what business does Luffy have with me?" Arlong asked in a condescending tone. Luffy looked at him and smirked before he answered.

"Oh nothing, I'm only here to kill you," Luffy said, causing Arlong and the rest of his crew to start laughing out loud.

"SHAHAHA! You, pathetic human, think you can kill me? A fishman?" Arlong said with a laugh.

"Yeah, right," said Luffy, a little bored. Arlong finally stopped laughing and looked at Luffy before he started to speak.

"Let me explain to you humans about us fishmen, as it seems you clearly don't understand the hard truth that is in front of you." Since birth, we fish can breathe not only underwater but also on land, while you humans can only breathe on land. We are also ten times stronger than normal humans when above water, and when underwater, your strength weakens while ours drastically increases. Heaven gave us the power to separate ourselves from you humans. So we're different! "Humans were lower and weaker from the day they were born!" Arlong boasted to a bored Luffy.

"Are you going to move your mouth all day or are we going to fight?" Luffy asked in a bored tone. The question irritated Arlong because of how easily Luffy ignored him.

"Who does he think he is!?" "I am the one who will rule over the entire ocean; this human should be honored to be in the presence of a being like me!" Arlong screamed this in his head as he shot Luffy a bloodthirsty glare. Just as Arlong was about to shout at Luffy, an octopus fisherman spoke.

"Let you take care of these people, boss," he said, getting Arlong's attention. Arlong thought about it for a moment before he answered.

"You're right, Hachi," he said to Fishman, who is now named Hachi. "This lowly trash isn't worth my time," he said before looking up at the sky. "And take care of them quickly; it looks like a storm is coming," Arlong said, causing Luffy to grin along with his crew.

"You don't know what's in store for you," they all thought with grins on their faces. Hachi then walked by the side of the pond-like structure that seemed to lead directly into the sea and then placed both of his hands over his rather long mouth before he started to play them like a trumpet. When he did that, the people in the village started to feel scared; suddenly, the ground beneath their feet started shaking, the water in the pond started to become agitated, and rather large waves started to form.

As Luffy looked out to sea, he saw something rather large heading towards the island rather quickly. There was something underwater, but judging by the size of the waves it was making, whatever it was was really big. Hachi then started laughing loudly as he spoke.

"HAHAHA! "Now all of you will become fish food!" said Hachi with his hands spread wide. "Mohmoo, RISE!" Hachi said. When he said that, something huge started to emerge from the pond. What came out of the pool was something Luffy didn't expect.

It was a giant sea cow. It has a large round nose with a gold ring on it, an ox-like face and horns, and green freckles all over its body. Hachi then pointed at Luffy and his crew before he gave an order to the giant sea cow.

"Catch them, Momoo," he said, causing the sea cow to turn its attention to Luffy and his crew, which caused the other fishmen to also start running towards Luffy. Sanji and Zoro were about to attack the fishmen, but Luffy reached out his hand, stopping them.
