First Bounty :-$

Syrup Village

"Ladies!" screamed Merry as he ran up the stairs with a piece of paper in his hand. He pushed open the door, opened his study, and spoke.

"Miss Rich, have you seen this?" he asked as he held up Luffy's wanted poster for Kaya to see. Kaya took it and smiled before speaking.

"Looks like they did, Merry?" he asked, looking down at the paper.

"Yes, that's right," he replied. Kaya then turned to him and smiled before she spoke again.

"That's great news; Usopp is moving towards his dream, so I better start working harder to achieve my dream," he said with conviction.

*Shell City*

Sweeping through the halls of the sea base in Shell City is Coby. While sweeping, he notices wanted posters on the wall. When he saw it, he smiled widely when he saw that it was Luffy.

"Luffy, you are out to achieve your dreams, but when we meet again, we will meet as enemies," he said, smiling with great joy.

Several random islands in the Grand Line

Hawk-Eye makes his way to the beach on the island and is immediately greeted by a group of frightened pirates.

"What do you want, Hawk-Eye?" asked the pirate, who was very scared with his sword pointed at Hawk-Eye. Mihawk just stared at him with a bored look on his face before he spoke.

"Oh, take me to your boss," he said, causing the pirates to run into the forest. "Camping on a deserted island?" "What a jolly man," he said before he followed the pirate into the forest.

After walking for a few minutes, he arrived at the Red Hair Pirates' camp. They were all sitting under a big umbrella, sobering up from their hangovers.

"Boss!" "Ha-Ha-Hawk-Eye!" the pirate shouted at Shanks while pointing back. Shanks, who was sitting on a log, didn't even need to look at Mihawk when he spoke.

"Hello, Hawk-Eye, with what honor have you come to this place?" "Did you come to fight me?" "Because, you know, I'm a little unwell right now," said Shanks in a low voice.

"I have no intention of fighting a handicapped man; I will fight you next time," Mihawk said while looking at Shanks. "Recently I met our friend in East Blue," he said, attracting everyone's attention as he started walking towards Shanks with a rolled-up paper in his hand.

"I just thought you might want to have a look at this," he said as he unrolled the paper and showed Shanks Wanted Luffy's poster.

Shanks' eyes widened when he saw her as well as the rest of the crew; he then laughed to himself before he spoke.

"Then I can't just let you go, Hawk-Eye," said Shanks in a dangerous tone that caused Mihawk to narrow his eyes.

Shanks then took out a cup and started pouring liquor into it while laughing. "Hawk-Eye, let's have a drink," said Shanks with a big grin on his face.

"Didn't you just get drunk?" Hawk-Eye asked.

"Don't be crazy; we should celebrate." "Our student just got his first bounty; everyone let's party!" Shanks shouted before raising his own glass. "To Luffy!" he is screaming.

"To LUFFY!" shouted the rest of the crew while drinking their sake.

*Foosha Village*

Meanwhile, in Foosha village, everyone is celebrating because Luffy is achieving his dream. Inside Makino's bar, the main celebration ensues, with everyone having a drink to celebrate Luffy's first bounty.

"Who would have thought pirates with big names came from our village?" said one of the villagers.

"I know, that's amazing," said another.

"Shut up!" "What's so great about a pirate coming from our village?" asked the mayor.

"Aww, look at him, Mayor; he's so cute," Makino said from behind the bar. "He's totally out there chasing his dreams," she said.

"The dream or the fate?" the mayor said to himself.

*Back Going Merry*

Back at the Going Merry, everyone stared at the wanted poster lying on the ground with shocked faces, while Luffy just grinned.

"Did you guys see that?" "I'm an official pirate now," said Luffy proudly while looking at the poster. The image they used was right after he destroyed Arlong Park.

The image is of him standing amidst the piles of ashes in Arlong Park, with dark clouds and lightning flashing across the sky as a backdrop, as he stares directly into the camera with the cold eyes of an assassin and the torn Arlong Pirates flag lying by the side of his feet.

And right below the picture, there is his name and nickname, along with his bounty:

WANTED

Monkey D. Luffy

Nickname: The Thunder Demon: "Straw Hat Luffy"

Prize: $100,000,000.

Dead Or Alive

"Wow," said Johnny and Yosaku.

"100 million!?" Usopp shouted in surprise. "It was incredible!" he says. When he said that, Nami slapped him on the back of his head.

"Shut up, you idiot, this is bad!" she said. "This means a very strong marine will chase us," said Namu with a worried look on his face.

"100 million?" "With a reward like that, the Marine Headquarters will definitely take action," Zoro said in a low voice.

"Not to mention, this will attract a lot of bounty hunters," Zoro said, scaring everyone except Luffy. Luffy saw that everyone was starting to panic and decided to reduce their worries.

"All of you!" Luffy shouted from his throne to get their attention. "Relax and calm down." "If they don't send Marine Admiral Kizaru, we will be fine," said Luffy, reassuring them a bit.

"What's wrong with this guy named Kizaru?" asked Nojiko.

"Let's just say he's the only person who would give me a hard time in a fight," Luffy said, surprising them. "Now with a bounty like that, Marine has realized my relationship with Shanks and the power that I have."

"So they will try their best to prevent us from entering the Grand Line," said Luffy, earning nods from each of his crew in return. Luffy then turned to Nami and spoke. Nami, set sail for Logue Town. "We will stop there and resupply, and from there we will head straight for the Grand Line," he said in a firm voice.

"Good!" said Nami before walking to get her map.

"Why should we stop at Logue Town?" Sanji asked with a curious expression on his face. "Can't we just head straight to the Grand Line?" "We have enough supplies," he said, making Luffy laugh.

"We could have left right away, but stopping at Logue Town before entering the Grand Line is a rite of passage for pirates," said Luffy, earning curious glances from everyone there.

"You know Logue Town is the place where Gol D. Roger was born and where he died," Luffy said, causing everyone's eyes to widen. "It is also the place where the Great Pirate Era began." This city is known as the "City of Beginning and End."
