"Nice to see you again, Igarampol... "I mean Mr. 8," said Mr. 9 while standing in front of Igarampoi.
"I saw you two fail another mission," Igarampoi said, looking at the two of them. Before either of the two of them could answer, a woman came out of the bar dressed as a nun.
"No one has high expectations of them completing the mission anyway," she said as she started to take off her nun costume.
"Why don't you try yourself and kill the whale?" Mr. 9 shouted.
"That's right, the pirates are getting in our way anyway," said Ms. Wednesday in an annoyed voice. "By the way, where are they?" He asked while looking at the female nun.
"They all passed out inside." "I have to give their drinks some medicine; otherwise, they will still drink until now," said the woman.
"Nice thought, Ms. Monday," said Igarampoi, looking at the nun, who was now Ms. Monday.
"Now, can you explain to me why we need to put on such an elaborate show for those idiots?" he asked in an irritated voice. "I know no one wants to hear me whine, but it's my job to watch over the amount of food we use." "We could just ambush them at the harbour; after all, we're running out of supplies," he said as he placed his hands on his hips and stared at Igarampoi.
"Relax; before you question the validity of my plan, you should see this," he said as he held up Luffy's wanted poster. When Luffy saw this, he smirked.
"So they're bounty hunters," Luffy thought to himself as he continued to spy on the group.
"100 million berries!" "For that kid!" The three of them shouted with eyes the size of dinner plates.
"Don't be stupid; appearances can be deceiving," said Igarappoi as he placed the wanted poster in his pocket.
"So what do we do now?" "Do we kill them?" Ms. Monday asked.
"No," said Igarampol, surprising the three of them along with Luffy. "If we kill them, the bounty drops by 30%." "The government likes to carry out public executions," he said in a sombre tone.
"I understand," said Ms. Wednesday.
"Now go; I want them alive!" His command caused them to nod. But before they could answer Igarrapol's command, a voice sounded, causing them to freeze and their eyes to widen.
"Hey, sorry to interrupt," the voice said, causing the four of them to turn and look at the roof of the bar. When they turned around, they saw Zoro standing there with his Kitetsu sword, which he took out along with Johnny and Yosaku, each holding their bisentos.
Luffy was surprised that they were awake and that he didn't sense them. "Do you mind letting my friends sleep for a while?" he said, looking at the four of them.
"Yes, it was a long and tiring journey," said Johnny, looking at Mr. 9.
"So, try to hold back your screams." "We don't want to wake them up," Yosaku added in an emotionless voice. When Luffy heard that, he couldn't help but smile.
"I guess I've been too hard on them," thought Luffy to himself. Just then the bar door opened, and out came two men with guns.
"Hey, Mr. 8, Ms. Monday!" they shouted as the door opened. "Four of them had escaped from the bar while we were not looking," they said, causing the agents' eyes to widen.
"FOUR !?" shouted / asked them together.
"But there are only three of them here," said Ms. Wednesday in a frightened voice. "Where are the others?" he asked. As the guys were waiting for an answer, Zoro spoke up.
"Don't you think it's time you came out of your hiding place, Captain?" Zoro asked while looking at the building right next to the bar, confusing everyone. Seconds later, Luffy came out from the shadows of the building, laughing to himself.
"Nice job, Zoro," he said as he jumped over the roof. "Your training is paying off," he added as he walked beside the three of them.
"Brother Luffy, you're awake too?" Johnny asked, causing everyone to sweat. Luffy stared at her for a moment before he shook his head and didn't bother replying. Instead, he turned his attention to the four individuals standing below them.
"You really are cunning!" Mr. 8 shouted. "You four should still sleep with the others!" he shouted as more and more people began to gather.
"A true swordsman would never make the mistake of letting his guard down," Zoro said, causing Luffy to smile. "And judging by your cheap disguises, I think you're all bounty hunters," he said as he drew another sword.
"Your specialty is robbing drunken pirates who fall for your friendliness," Luffy added in his usual emotionless voice.
"I counted a hundred of these assholes, more or less a few," added Johnny, adjusting his glasses.
"We will fight you all," said Zoro while looking at them with narrowed eyes. "You heard me, Baroque Works!" Zoro shouted, causing all their eyes to widen in shock. Luffy was confused because he had never heard of an organisation with that name.
Ahh! "How did you know our names!?" Mr. 8 screamed in anger and shock. Zoro just laughed before answering.
"I was in the same line of work at one time," Zoro said with a smile. "Your company came and tried to persuade me with a job offer. "Of course, I refused," he said, making Luffy and the others understand how he knew about this organisation.
Does the same rule still apply? Employee identities are kept secret, code names are cheap, and boss identities and whereabouts remain a mystery. Baroque Works is an organisation that takes orders like a flock of sheep," said Zoro in an amused tone, which caused Luffy and the dou bounty hunters to laugh.
"It's a surprise," said Mr. 8 in a cold tone. "If you know all of our secrets, we have little choice but to kill you," he said in a sombre tone as he looked at the four of them. Luffy chuckled before summoning his cloud throne and sitting down.
"You can try," said Luffy as he sat down. "You three should be able to handle this; if I get involved, it won't be fun," he said, angering the agents of Baroque Works.
"You dare underestimate us!" a Baroque Works agent shouted angrily. Yosaku chuckled before talking to the people who shouted.
"Please, my captain is feeling sorry for you all, because if he joins the fight, you will all be flying from this world to the next without really knowing what's going on," he said, scaring some of the agents. Luffy chuckled when he heard what Yosaku said.
"Enough!" Mr. 8 shouted, getting everyone's attention. "kill them!" His shout caused all of the Baroque Works agents to attack the four Tiu pirates. Zoro and the bounty hunter duo looked at Luffy, who just nodded his head and told them to leave.
That's what the three of them needed, so they jumped off the roof and started fighting the bounty hunters. Luffy was just sitting on his throne and pouring himself a drink when he saw three members of his crew slashing the bounty hunters.
