In a big conference room that had over 200 chairs with a long table in the middle, there were ten people seated: seven women and three men. They all had their heads bowed, as if they were meditating—or waiting for someone.
The door opened, and a woman entered, accompanied by guards. All the other members seated at the table immediately stood up at attention. The woman looked at them one by one before finally taking her seat at the head of the table.
"The attack on our students at their school by the bloodsuckers today is the height of it all," she started. "We are gathered here today to find a permanent solution to those bloodsuckers. We can't allow them to penetrate our land or even the human land anymore.
WE NEED TO FIGHT THEM!" she said suddenly, hitting her fist on the long conference table, startling the others.
"Madam Ortega, calm down, Madam," an elderly-looking man, probably the oldest in the room, got up and said. "We need to come up with a plan to fight the vampires. We need armies, because it seems that during all this time, while they were in hiding, they've actually been preparing themselves for this particular attack. They took us by surprise."
"So, Elder Abraham, what do you suggest?" Madam Ortega asked.
"Madam, I suggest we start recruiting young, able-bodied werewolves into the WSS (Werewolf Security System), train them to be alert, and safeguard the people from any further attacks," Elder Abraham suggested.
Madam Ortega looked around the table and asked, "Any other person with any other idea?"
"Madam Ortega, I think Elder Abraham's suggestion is best for now. We recruit werewolves, train them, and get them on alert," Mr. Owens said.
"But what about the human government? Shouldn't they also be lending their armies to us for support?" Anna, one of the women at the table, asked.
"Yes, yes," Mr. Marcus said, "I guess we could ask for their support, especially now that it seems the vampires are after us and not them anymore."
"Rebecca!" Madam Ortega called.
"Yes, Madam?" Rebecca answered.
"I need you to talk to the human government. Tell them we want their best armies. I'm sure they must have heard about what happened. I wonder why they haven't reached out to us." Elder Abraham and Mr. Owens, I need you both to start the werewolf recruitment IMMEDIATELY! We can't take any more chances." Standing up, she added, "This meeting is over, until further notice."
