3000 years ago, a group of beings known as vampires invaded our land causing havoc and mayhem in the city. They are called the blood suckers. 
      But from nowhere another group of beings appeared and started fighting the blood suckers, they protected the humans from the vampires. They are called the werewolves, protectors of the human race.
The werewolves being the superior beings fought and won the vampires. When the vampires saw that their number is decreasing day by day, they decided to retreat and stay hiding in the forest for the main time until they can get more armies .

 Currently the vampires , having fortified thselves and increased their numbers are now out in the open, more confident about themselves, attacking both humans and werewolves.

  Now a Vampire soothsayer revealed to the leader of the Vampires, Magnus, that the only way they can win over the wolves is through the CHOSEN ONE and he/she must be born a vampire, 
Now, Everyone knows vampires aren't born from birth, rather they were humans who were bittten by another vampire, so while the werewolves are still in oblivion to what is happening, the vampires are busy looking for a way to give birth to their CHOSEN ONE.

IMMORTAL (The chosen one)

Lydia heard her name and ran out of the room to see the caller

Oh my goodness, Roman, what happened? I told you not to go there," She said her eyes bulging out at seeing Roman with his body so bloody.

Lydia, there's no time for talks right now, I need you to take Mateo and run away, as far as you both can

What's going on Mateo? Lydia asked interrupting him

Don't ask me questions, just do as I say

No Roman, tell me what's going on, I can't leave you behind", Lydia pleased

Master Roman, we heard noises, what's goi'

Wills, one of the followers was saying before he saw Roman's blood stained body and screamed

Wills, I need you to go assemble the others, get them at alert and get them to position themselves around the forest, we need to protect our forte, there might be an attack, Roman said

Attack? From the wolves right? Lydia said hysterically

Yes master, Wills answered automatically and zoomed off in a flash

Yes from the lycans, because they think I lied to them , Roman said and walked close to Lydia, held her in her face and said," Lydia, you're my only hope, since my wife died, you have always been here for me, please I'm begging for this one last favour. Help me save Matthew, he's all I've got.

Lydia who's already started shaking with tears running down her cheeks nodded her head and said 'Ok', just promise me one thing Roman

Promise you will come back to us, you will look for us

Roman looked upwards trying hard to hold back his tears and said with a choky voice

I promise, I will find you both, and I'm not going to die, no one is going to die, Ok?

Ok, I believe you, Lydia said sobbing and turning back to get Matthew

Inside the bedroom, little Matthew was sleeping peacefully until he felt a tap on his shoulder, he woke up to see aunt Lydia smiling down at him, but even as a small child, he noticed the sadness in her eyes.

Aunt Lydia, what's wrong? He asked concerned

Why are you crying? Did someone beat you?

No Matthew, my baby, we need to go somewhere, Lydia said cuddling Matthew to her chest so he can't see the tears rolling down her cheeks

But aunt Lydia, it's too late now, I can't even see out in the dark, where are we going to? Young Matthew asked

Come with me outside, let me show you something, Lydia said

Look up Matthew, you see that big tower building that has shinning lights, which you always admire?

That's where we're going, Lydia said

You mean in the big city? Where there is light and small children like me? Matthew asked enthusiastically

Yes baby, that's where we're going

But, why do you look sad aunt Lydia and where daddy and uncle Wills

What about the others too? Shouldn't we all go together?

Lydia forced a smile and said, I'm not sad honey, I'm just too happy

Daddy and uncle Wills are already there in the city, they are building a big mansion where we would live when we get there

Why can't we wait for morning then, the ever enquisive Matthew kept querying

The city is far, so we have to move from now to get there early, Lydia who has already prepared herself for his questions answered immediately

Matthew frowned his brows in a way that implies he doesn't believe her , but he shrugged and said
