The proverb Unity is Strength shows the value of unity in life.

Unity allows us to enjoy every moment of our lives. It is the unity of the well-wishers that makes the pleasure great and the despair less in the good moments of marriage and the sad moments of sickness and death. A strong united family, society, or nation is always possible. Everyone is familiar with the story of the farmer and his quarrelling sons. Each stick was easily broken apart by the sons. Nobody could break the bundle when the sticks were tied together. An army can teach us the same lesson. The strength of an army is the combined strength of all the soldiers acting as one. Similarly, a hockey or cricket team's success is the result of a group effort. In our personal lives, we should apply this principle and never argue with our friends and relatives.
