"I am going to be a Student Professor, Apprenticing under Senior Auror Moody and Professor Flitwick!" Khan announced his good news with pride.

The 3 best friends were shocked with the news. They had never heard of such a thing.

"Wha- Wha- What?" Ron stuttered out incoherently.

"You're going to be a what?" Hermione followed up.

"Wait.... Mad-Eye Moody is going to be at Hogwarts?" Asked Harry, interested in this legendary auror he had just learned about, not caring at all at Khan's news.

"I'm going to be a student professor." Replied Khan, clarifying for both Hermione and Ron, before answering Harry. "And yes, Senior Auror Moody will be teaching Defense Against the Dark Arts this year."

"What does that even mean?" followed up Ron.

"To be honest, I'm not completely sure." Confessed Khan. "I know that both Professor Flitwick as well as Moody will be tutoring me for my O.W.L.s and N.E.W.Ts, since I will have to take both of them this year.... Oh, and I will be helping teach some Defense and Charms classes to help pass on some of my practical skills."

"You're going to be teaching us?!?" exclaimed Harry excitedly. He was hoping to pick up some of Khan's flashy skills, and finally live up to his 'boy-who-lived' title.

"Yes.... according to Dumbledore, it will count towards my practical teaching hours, for when I am working towards my teaching masters specialties next year." Answered Khan.

"D-D-Did you just say, you're also working towards your masteries?" Asked Hermione stunned at what Khan had just told them.

"As long as I pass my exams, then yes, next year I will be." Khan nodded in confirmation. "Dumbledore said, and I quote, 'Following this plan, I will be able to graduate with my N.E.W.Ts, and complete my Masteries for my teaching specialties, all within 2 years'."

"2 years!?!?" Hermione basically shrieked, slightly outraged by the favoritism, conveniently forgetting she had just used a time-tuner the previous year. "Wait.... how old are you again?"

"I turned 16 in March, before I went into a coma...." Answered Khan hesitantly, not knowing why she was so angry, or where she was going with her line of questioning.

"Biologically you'd be starting 6th year...." Hermione stated aloud to herself, as she started thinking hard, doing quick calculations in her head, and remembering some quick history. "So, according to this plan, when you're normally supposed to graduate 7th year (according to regular Hogwarts standards), you'll have finished your N.E.W.Ts as well as 2 Masteries for your teaching specialty?!?"

"Yes.... thats correct..."

"Then You'd be the youngest graduate with a dual-mastery in the last century!" She accused Khan, pointing at him in indignation, face red with righteous fury.

"....." Khan was speechless. He was unsure how to respond to the accusation since she was technically right..... but why was she making the entire situation sound like he had just killed her parents or something along those lines? Could this woman be anymore unreasonable?

'Perhaps it is her time of the month....' Khan mused to himself, slightly intimidated by the ranting witch.

"I must speak with Professor McGonagall at once!" Hermione was busy making plans. "Maybe I can also be accelerated..... My grades should speak for themselves, and I am more than willing to put in the extra hours.... Oh, I know! I can double my parchment lengths on assignments to really demonstrate my knowled-"

*BANG*

She was interrupted by the compartment opening suddenly.

"If it isn't Weasley, Potter, and the Mud-" Malfoy was halfway through his normal obnoxious greetings, when he finally took a good look at the 4th companion in the compartment, and immediately changed his tune.

"Lord Khan! It is my humble pleasure to make your acquaintance!" Replacing his signature smirk, for a fawning smile, he immediately greeted Khan, quickly changing his tone. "I am Draco Malfoy, heir to the House Malfoy. We were in the top-box together!"

His father had repeatedly told him over the past few days, that he must do his best to become a close confidant of Lord Khan. After witnessing what the Young Lord was capable of the night of the World Cup, and seeing the damage wrought against his previous allies, the death eaters, his father was adamant, that the next era would be controlled by Jordan Khan.

Draco, who was coincidentally hiding nearby the clearing that night, had witnessed Khan's fight against the Aurors himself. Needless to say, even without his father's warning, Draco had enough sense for self-preservation to at the very least, not antagonize the young lord.

"Hello Heir Malfoy. A pleasure." Khan stood up, and shook his hand, in quite the noble fashion, etiquette lessons kicking in. He was quite relieved for the interruption, as Hermione previously appeared to be starting on another one of her rants.

Viewing Malfoy's smiling face however, as he let go of his hand, was slightly odd to him. After all, he was used to the arrogant sneers thrown at him for being a supposed squib from the ages of 11-14. Seeing a typical arrogant pureblood smiling at him in a fawning fashion, was definitely a new experience for Khan.

"Quite the exquisite robes, sir!" Malfoy followed up, seeing the stunning detail on the Ravenclaw Relic Robes. "Can I assume that a congratulations is in order and that you have already been chosen as the Hogwarts champion?"

"Hogwarts champion?" Asked Khan, a bit confused.

"What are you on Malfoy!?!?" Raged Ron, shouting over Khan. "Coming in here acting all buddy buddy..... everyone can see through your plans!"

"I am not ON anything, Weasley!" Replied Malfoy. "And I do not have any 'plans', as you so eloquently put it."

"What plans?" Asked Khan, still confused.

"Too bad Malfoy!" Ron continued to rage, still shouting over Khan. "If you didn't notice in the top-box already, Khan is friends with us, not you!"

"How did you get in the Top-Box anyway Weasley?" Malfoy had finally had enough of his attitude, and snapped at Ron in return, arrogant smirk back on his face, as he rebuked. "Your father have to take out another loan?"

"Shove off Malfoy!" Harry decided to back up his best friend.

"Better have savored it, Weasley." Malfoy taunted, as he exited the compartment snickering. "First and last time in the top-box I reckon!"

"Eat Dung Malfoy!" Ron angrily yelled as he slammed the compartment door shut behind them.

*SHATTER*

The glass shattered in response from the force of Ron's angry slam.

"Ronald!" Said Hermione reproachfully, as she pulled out her wand, casting a quick 'Reparo!' to fix the damaged pane.

"Don't let Malfoy get to you, Ron-" Harry followed up as well, only to get interrupted.

"Him? Get to me?" Ron interrupted Harry now, in indignation. "As if!"

Turns out Malfoy did get to him, as Ron's foul mood continued the rest of the trip. He sat in the corner of the compartment moping and playing with his figurine of Krum.

Khan meanwhile, who was temporarily forgotten about in the excitement, was left wondering, 'What the hell just happened?'

*****

"Alright, I have the egg." Khan stated, putting the dragon egg away into his storage.

"Ready?" Asked Poppy, wand at her side. "The element of surprise will only buy us a few seconds."

"Then lets make them count!" Khan answered, drinking an Edurus Potion and a Maxima Potion in preparation.

Wands at the ready, the 2 companions rushed into the giant hall, immediately casting spells at the unaware poachers currently trying to subjugate a newly caught dragon.

Khan started off by tossing debris with his ancient magic at the poachers surrounding the dragon , causing them to split apart in the chaos, successfully diverting their attention away from torturing the poor dragon.

Quickly summoning one of the poachers over in front of him, Khan began to juggle the evil wizard in the air using basic spell casts to keep him bouncing upwards, in karmic retribution for torturing all these poor dragons, before finally finishing him off with a descendo.

Khan was feeling particularly brutal this fight.

Forcing these dragons to fight, simply for the entertainment of wizards?

Unacceptable.

Tossing a quick Glacius/Diffindo at his next victim, blowing them up in icy gore, he then turned towards another poacher, quickly casting a Levioso/Depulso combo, sending him flying towards a structural tent pillar, shattering it, and his bones in the process.

"Flippendo!" Poppy yelled from behind him, drawing his attention over to her battle in the process.

She had one poacher trapped in the air under a Levioso spell, while she battled another one only to eventually also flip him up in the air from her most recent spell. Quite adept at multi-tasking, if Khan said so himself.

"Depulso!" She followed up, sending the already flipped in the air, poacher, flying away, before casting her own descendo on her final foe trapped under the levioso spell.

Looking around Khan saw that all the poachers in the room were dead or incapacitated, however, all their commotion was bound to have attracted attention.

"We don't have time!" Poppy shouted at Khan in urgency. "We need to free her before more show up!"

They both casted a quick Accio on the giant pins holding the locking mechanism in place trapping the dragon, pulling them out, before taking a few steps back in case the dragon tried to attack them in confusion.

Pins now removed, and the locking mechanism no longer engaged, the Dragon began to break free of its bonds, trashing around and snapping various chains and bars holding her in place, roaring angrily in the process.

"Perhaps we should leave....." Khan suggested hesitantly.

"A little late for that." Poppy answered, motioning over to the incoming poacher reinforcements.

Lucky for them, the dragon had just broken her last bond, when the poacher reinforcements decided it was a good time to show up.

*ROOOOOOAAAAAAR*

The dragon, now free, angrily spewed fire at the newly arrived reinforcements, vaporizing them in the process.

"Before she could set her sights on Poppy and me, I casted a quick incendio at the tent roof, to clear a way for her to escape." Narrated Khan excitingly. "Lucky for us, as soon as she saw the clear sky above, she immediately flew away."

Ginny, Fred and George had joined them mid way through the journey, as they still wanted to hear about Khan's Horntail Hall story, which he was currently narrating.

"Poppy and I then cast disillusionment charms on ourselves, and escaped in the subsequent chaos." He finished with a grin. "Good times...."

"Wait a second!" Started George.

"You still haven't told us!" Continued Fred.

"What did you guys do with the Dragon egg?" They finished in unison.

"Oh, thats another good story!" Answered Khan. "Poppy really showed off her inves-"

Khan stopped himself mid-sentence, as he felt the train begin to slow down, indicating their arrival to Hogsmeade Station.

"Looks like its a story for another time, sorry gentleman." Khan corrected himself to the twins. "Appears as if we have arrived."

As the Hogwarts Express slowed down to a stop, and the train doors opened, Khan saw that there were Carriages pulled by thestrals waiting to take them to Hogwarts. Quite similar in fact, to the carriage he had taken to Hogwarts from London, alongside Professor Fig and his friend George, all those years ago.

Khan had to say, he preferred this method of transportation in comparison to the 'getting attacked by a dragon, and teleported via portkey' method him and Professor Fig had taken previously.

Stepping into a carriage alongside Fred, George and Ginny, the door shut behind him with a snap, and a few moments later, with a great lurch, the long procession of carriages began their journey to Hogwarts.
