"Unhand me you foul woman!"
"If you'd take your potion properly, then I wouldn't have to restrain you! It's not like I'm trying to poison you!"
It was Sunday evening, and after Khan had destroyed tens of training dummies, and mulled over all the information he had recently received, he had to get back to his studies.
His OWLs were rapidly approaching, and unfortunately, Jordan just did not have enough time to mope around.
Luckily, he had been informed that some of his workload would be lessened, as Moody was finally fit to return to teach classes.
As such, he had been tasked by the headmaster to pick up his mentor from the medical wing that evening, in order to help prepare him for classes the following day.
Moody had been trapped in a trunk for the entire school year thus far, after all.
Walking into the Medical wing however, it appeared that he had walked in during some kind of commotion.
Moody was trapped on his bed, his sheets wrapped tightly around him, making him look like a giant wrapped up man-baby, with him struggling desperately to escape, to no avail.
And Standing over him, with her wand out, holding up a potion flask with her other hand, was matron Pomfrey.
"Hello Prof. Moody. Good evening Matron Pomfrey." Khan greeted them politely, deciding to intervene before things could escalate any further.
"Oh, hello Jordan!" Pomfrey greeted Khan with a motherly smile, in complete contrast to how she just looked moments ago, glaring at Moody.
"Hello sir!" Moody meanwhile, greeted Jordan as professionally as was possible for him, wrapped him in the hospital sheets, sitting up straight, and nodding towards him in greetings. "Please allow me to take this opportunity to thank you. I understand that it was primarily thanks to you and your suspicions, that I was rescued after only a few months."
Similar to Pomfrey, Moody also did a complete 180 when addressing Khan. While he originally respected him as the Hero of Hogwarts, this was now exponentially amplified with his most recent rescue actions.
"It's not a problem sir!" Khan responded, waving off his thanks. "Truthfully, it was just as much coincidence, as it was my suspicions."
"Never the less, I am very appreciative sir!" Moody bowed as much as he could muster, wrapped up tightly in the hospital sheets.
"You are very welcome sir! I for one, am glad that there doesn't seem to be any lasting consequences." Khan replied. "Now I am here to escort you from the Medical wing, and aide you in preparing for the upcoming week of classes. Do you want to take your potions, so that Dear Pomfrey here can let you go?"
"Very well! Woman! You heard the Young hero!" Moody barked.
Pomfrey meanwhile, was looking on in shock, not even hearing Moody's most recent demand. Moody had been a nightmare patient the entire week, refusing to take any of the healing potions for fear of being poisoned, and always looking to escape for fear of being imprisoned once again. Truth be told, she had grown rather exasperated with the paranoid old man, and was eagerly looking forward to his departure previously. Now however, it appeared Moody was quite accommodating towards Jordan Khan.
She didn't even see Moody respect the Headmaster that much... Just how high a place of respect did Jordan occupy inside of Moody's heart?
Khan, noticing Pomfrey was stunned, proceeded to levitate the potion out of her hand. Moving it magically over to the tied up Moody, he then poured it in Moody's waiting mouth.
"Job done! Would it be alright to let him go now Ms. Pomfrey?" Khan asked happily.
"…" Pomfrey remained motionless, still transfixed at what she was witnessing, not answering or even acknowledging that she heard Jordan.
"Alright then….. It seems you have upset Ms. Pomfrey enough that she is refusing to remove your bindings." Khan shrugged his shoulders, figuring she was still holding a grudge against the stubborn old man.
"Come along sir…" he casted a levitation charm on the bound Moody. "I'll transport you to your office! It's not like you'd be able to walk anyways with your missing leg." Khan added that last part under his breath.
"I have your magical eye and wooden leg ready and waiting for you, but we really must discuss your current Defence classes, as you have been absent the entire year….."
Pomfrey watched, still stunned, as Khan floated Moody out of the medical wing, talking animatedly with that foul brute of a man.
While she always had a soft spot for the poor boy, especially after learning of his situation over the summer, she now had a new reason to like the Young lord.
'Perhaps I can interest him in a medical apprenticeship, if Moody ever gets injured again.'

* CLAP CLAP *
"Great job everyone! Everyone please gather round, as class is almost finished, and Prof Flitwick has a few announcements!" Khan gathered everyone's attention to himself, and Professor Flitwick standing at the front.
It was now Thursday, and the school week was now in full swing.
After Khan had escorted Moody back to his classroom, he spent the rest of the night bonding with his 'new' mentor, going over the current Defense curriculum, while exchanging adventures.
Jordan had to admit, that Moody was indeed quite paranoid, often times pausing mid-sentence to scan his surroundings with his magical eye. Strangely, this was as unpleasant as one would expect however, as Moody appeared to implicitly trust himself for some reason.
Similar to previously, Moody was still very respectful to Jordan, addressing him as he would his senior, instead of a peer, or student.
This unfortunately, had the unintended consequence of keeping him busy even in Defense classes, as Moody would quite often defer to Jordan to teach his classes, completely opposite to how Crouch Jr. acted, when he was assigned to help him.
On top of all of this, he still had the Triwizard tournament to worry about. Khan still had yet to work out the 2nd clue after all. Not to mention, With Crouch Jr's manipulations, as well as his end goal unclear, the Triwizard Tournament took on a whole new level of danger.
After all, Khan was still unsure of Voldemort's purpose behind having Harry not only participate in the Triwizard tournament, but survive it. He would've thought that having Harry killed off during the tournament to make it look like an accident, would have been the smart move, but it seemed that Voldemort had alternate plans.
Khan and Moody had spent a considerable amount of time theorizing Voldemort's plans for the Triwizard tournament throughout the week as a result.
And with Khan back helping with Flitwick's charm classes, as well as the ever approaching OWL exams, needless to say, Jordan did not have any free time at all.
Knowing himself, and his tendency to overthink things, it was perhaps a good thing he was so busy. With him so busy, he had next to no spare time to think about Sebastian, and this recent news from Natty, that he could possibly a dark lord.
Which brought them to the Thursday of that week. As mentioned previously, Khan was back to helping teach Flitwick's charm classes part-time, much to the diminutive professor's delight.
He had very much missed Jordan during the few weeks he was absent teaching Defense classes, especially due to his creativity when it came to teaching lessons.
For example, currently Khan had been teaching the 5th year Ravenclaws the Disillusionment charm, before calling out for his announcement.
And while the disillusionment charm was a standard 5th year spell, Jordan had once again created a new exercise, in order to teach the students the practical applications of the spell.
Khan had taken out a number of Kneazles, setting them lose in the classroom, instructing the students to catch them using their disillusionment charm only.
As a result, the students learned not only the limitations of the spell, but also how to work around it's shortcomings, all while having fun and learning the spell in record time.
Flitwick had to say, as much as he was teach Jordan, Khan was teaching him just as much!
"Sir? The class is ready." Khan interrupted Flitwick of this thoughts.
Looking around, it seemed that all the Kneazles had been recaptured and placed back in Khan's Knab-sack, and the rest of his 5th year Ravenclaws had all reappeared with giant smiles on their faces.
Everyone loved played with kneazles after all!
"First of all, I want to Thank you, Prof. Khan for that particularly 'illuminating' lesson. I think I can speak for everyone, when I say that you and your creative lessons have been missed in charms class." Flitwick decided to get started with his announcements, praising his protégé.
He paused briefly, as his Ravenclaw class burst into applause, in clear appreciation of their Jr. Prof. Although they had Khan for Defense classes, it was indeed true that they had grown used to having him teach them charms classes as well. They would never tell anybody this, but they in fact, preferred Khan's lessons over their Head of House's.
"Settle down, settle down! Now, for our main announcement!" Flitwick squeaked excitedly. "The Yuletide season is approaching, and with it comes a traditional and revered event that is long part of the Triwizard Tournament; The Yule Ball!"
"This is a unique opportunity for all of us to not only socialize with our foreign guests, but also all let our hair down so to speak, and truly enjoy the yuletide season with our friends!"
Cho Chang let out a giggle, alongside her best friend Marietta Edgecombe.
Flitwick continued, unbothered by the girl's excitement.
"The Ball will be open for fourth year students and above, although you may invite a younger student if you wish. Dress robes will be required, as this is a formal event, and the ball will start at 8 pm on Christmas Day in the Great Hall, and is scheduled to finish shortly after midnight."
The bell rang, signaling the end of class. The usual scuffle of activity that accompanied the end of class, was strangle combined today with the excitement of the now approaching Yule Ball.
"Excellent lesson, as usual Jordan!" Flitwick squeaked from beside Khan. "At this rate, I might be out a job once you graduate!"
"Nonsense sir! You are still my mentor, and I still have much to see and learn, before I settle down and become a teacher." Khan immediately protested.
Although he did want to EVENTUALLY become a teacher, that wasn't until after he travelled and adventured around the world for a few years.
"Well we'll see. I suppose that's a few years away at any rate." Flitwick didn't take Khan's words seriously. Just like Jordan, Flitwick himself was quite the adventurer, even competing in the dueling circuit in his youth.
However, teaching had been his true calling. And Flitwick could tell, just from the smiles on the faces of all the students after his lessons, that teaching would be Jordan's true calling as well. He was too creative and good at teaching, for it not to be!
"Before you go, I do have one more announcement, that's just for the champions of the tournament however." Flitwick continued.
"Oh? What announcement? Do we have an additional task?" Khan asked in curiosity.
"In a manner of speaking.... The champions and their partners will be opening the ball with a dance, as is tradition. As such, your 'additional task' so to speak, will be to find a partner to accompany you."
Khan who was listening intently, was now feeling quite anxious with his most recent news.
'Seriously? We have to open the dance?'
Although Khan was quite skilled at dancing, having had of course received formal dance training, as was expected for most families in high society, He was feeling anxious for another reason entirely.
He had been recently attempting to return Fleur's clear affections, to little success (at least he thought so anyways). Not knowing how to properly interact with Fleur on a Romantic level, Jordan was often times left stumbling over his words, during any attempt at either flirting or asking Fleur out on a date.
Thus far, he had managed to ask her out on a 'date' to 'take a break' with him, as well as 'accompany him to the library'.
And while he had been building up his courage, working up his courage to ask Fleur out on a proper Christmas date, this new Yule Ball Announcement appeared to not only accelerate his timeline, but also have the unintended consequence of making his first date be viewed by the entire student body.
As both of them were champions, they would no doubt, be front and center of all the Yule ball festivities, with all eyes on them.
As Khan was internally panicking, Flitwick was finishing up with his announcement, his face taking on a wide smile, as he mentioned the next part in jest, not knowing how his protégé was feeling inside.
"But that shouldn't be a problem for you, Jordan? Especially with Ms. Delacour accompanying you everywhere these days.... She's bound to be accompanying you to this dance too eh?"
"... I intend to ask her sir." Khan confirmed after a moment, face bright red from embarrassment.
"Just make sure you aren't too 'distracted' with Ms. Delacour during the Ball Jordan.... wouldn't want to trip during the opening dance!"
With that statement, Flitwick ended the discussion, chortling loudly to himself, as he went into his office, leaving a stunned and embarrassed Khan alone in the classroom.
'Fuck.... I already know I am going to embarrass myself.'
