* A few min ago at the Bar *

"So Fleur... That was Jordan Khan huh?"

Apolline Delacour and her two daughters had finally arrived at the bar of the Three Broomsticks on the main floor, and were currently waiting to order their drinks from Madam Rosmerta.

"And I must say he certainly seemed happy to see you... especially with that rather forward greeting."

Unfortunately for Fleur, as she was quite anxious to get back to her Husband talking to her father, it was quite busy that weekend, and it appeared that Madam Rosmerta would not be able to serve them right away.

"Not to mention your reactions just then, kissing him back and embracing him automatically, as if it were already a natural reaction for you... At least I know why you sent me that letter asking for 'tips'."

Not to mention, her mother was currently teasing her about her husband in french, if the smirk that accompanied her questioning, was any indication.

"So Tell me Fleur..... how was your first time?"

"M-M-Mother!"

However, even with all her mother's teasing, Fleur was still not prepared for her rather blunt question, and ended up blushing bright red, and stuttering in response.

"What? Do you mean to tell me that you are still keeping that young man waiting? I know I always said to protect your purity, BUT it was only to save it for your chosen mate! Don't you know that I took your father to bed after only our third da-"

"M-M-Mother! Gabri-" Fleur tried to cut her mother off, not wanting to discuss this rather sexual topic. Especially in front of her little eight year old sister.

"Don't 'mother' me! Have you still not realized that your Veela magic is already different? It is already changing!" Apolline however, continued on her tirade, unperturbed.

"Your allure is already more than twice as powerful as it was during the summer! And thats already without mentioning the obvious change in your English accent. If things continue at this rate, we might even see you develop some Inherent Veela magic that hasn't been seen in centuries..."

Apolline lost her smirk, taking on a serious and pensive look instead, as she stared at her eldest daughter, thinking about what she just told them.

Although she had raised Fleur with some minor knowledge of Veela magic and their culture, truthfully there was much about their history and magic that she had not yet passed down to her daughters.

And it was not that she didn't think it wasn't important, or anything similar to that. It was simply that with Gabrielle being 8 years old, and Fleur not previously showing any interest in romance, Apolline assumed that she had more time.

Not to mention, even though she had indeed previously taught Fleur a little bit about their culture, as well as about their allure, she had not yet gotten around to teaching her all the important details.

From their origins stemming from Cleopatra herself, to the Veela race being mistaken as 'sirens' in Muggle folklore, their beautiful alluring singing (one of the inherent Allure related magical abilities Veelas used to be capable of) being responsible for luring numerous sailors to their death, there was still plenty of topics that she still needed to go over with her daughters, to ensure that their Veela culture was not lost to time.

However, she was not expecting Fleur to not only find her 'chosen mate' that quickly, but also that her normal allure didn't work on the young man.

Apolline, as a 1/2 Veela herself, knew what it meant for Fleur's Veela magic actually actively begin changing her, to the point that her accent had been affected.

In fact, if she listened a bit more closely, her voice was also becoming a little bit more melodic in nature - similar in fact, to the rumored Ancient Veela ability that the mythic sirens folklore tales are based upon.

Perhaps Fleur really would be able to manifest more lost Veela abilities.... especially if her magic had already changed her this much already in a matter of a few months.

And to think, it was all due to this Jordan Khan.

As her mother, she should encourage Fleur to 'lock-him-down' so to speak....

"Fleur... You really shouldn't make Jordan wait much longer.... You might think you are satisfying him, with simple games in the bedroom, but you should know that Men will only be satisfied with 'that' for so lo-"

"MM-M-Mother! Please!"

"Quiet! This is no time to be embarrassed Fleur! Can't you see that even your magic is telling you that you have found your mate?" Apolline continued her rant. "I know you told us you love him, and that he's the one... But Have you told him that yet? And why don't you show him that already?"

"Or maybe you're just saying that simply because you want to rebel against your parents? Well I hate to break it to you Fleur, but with your Veela magic changing this much, this quickly, it can only mean that your mag-"

"I already gave him my purity Mother!"

Although Fleur was still very much embarrassed about the entire situation, especially speaking with her mother, not to mention little sister, about her 'activities with her husband, Fleur had finally had enough, interrupting her mother out of her tirade.

"It was all the way back during Christmas! We've been sleeping together every night for a month already!"

"..."

What followed were a few minutes awkward silence, Apolline and Gabrielle both grinning at Fleur's confession. In fact, it actually took a few moments before Fleur finally realized exactly what she had said, blushing even redder in response to her Mother's teasing.

You see, Fleur was so worked up that she ended up accidentally confessing that she had not only lost her virginity, but also that her and Jordan were in fact, actually sleeping together every night the past month... That was a detail that she definitely did not want to share, especially with her mother and her sister.

"Sorry for the wait!" A voice belonging to Madam Rosmerta cut into the silence, luckily saving Fleur from her mother's 'shit-eating-grin' that she was current wearing. "So what will you ladies be having today?"

*****

"Very well, Mr. Khan. You've made your intentions clear, and at the very least, you've shown that you're not easily intimidated."

"Thank you sir. I assure you, I'm here for the right reasons, and I have no intention of causing harm to either Fleur, or your family."

Louis eyed the young man in slight suspicion; he did not become the Chief of the French Auror department taking things at face value. There were just too many secrets surrounding this boy, Jordan Khan, after all.

Louis of course, had investigated him and his Khan family immediately upon receiving his letter stating his intention to court Fleur, drawing upon all the current resources at his disposal.

And needless to say, what he found, bothered him.

Looking back through his family history, The Khan family alone, of course, possessed quite the notoriety behind its name; Not only was its founder the infamous and destructive archmage Genghis Khan, but the Khan family would also go on to become the most powerful wizarding family in England, mainly due to their powerful elemental magic, not to mention their economic chokehold over the european spice market.

This in itself, didn't bother Louis however; it was more the fact that outside of this general knowledge surrounding the Khan family public history, he was not able to find any other piece of credible information regarding them.

From the time that they disappeared from the public spotlight in the early 1900s, right up until August 1994 when Jordan made his appearance at the world cup, Louis was not able to find a single piece of information regarding the Khan family.

And As the French Chief, this bothered him greatly; he had access to some of the best intelligence resources in the world after all.

Was it really possible for a family to go underground for that long?

And what would cause such a powerful family, both magically and economically, to even decide to go underground in the first place? For over a century no less....

To think that those were just the questions he had about the boy's family... to say nothing about the questions Louis had about the boy himself.

Seemingly the sole inheritor to the great Khan family legacy, Jordan himself was evidently quite magically powerful as well, bursting onto the scene from out of nowhere during the World Cup Riots over the previous summer, taking out numerous death eaters with flashy and powerful elemental magic.

With Jordan later joining Hogwarts as a Student professor, eventually becoming the Hogwarts Triwizard Champion, not to mention him appearing to have genuine feelings for her, you would assume that Louis should be happy with Fleur's choice in boyfriend.

And normally, you'd be right.

However, something just didn't feel right about the entire situation to Louis. There were just too many unanswered questions.

For instance, is Jordan the last of his family? Is that why he is the defacto head of his house? And if so, why?

He is clearly a powerful wizard, especially if the pensieves that Louis had seen of him in action were any indication, and would obviously need training and experience to achieve the magical fighting skills Jordan displayed both during the world cup, as well as the First task.

So if that's indeed the case, who trained/tutored him, if he's the last of his family?

Could it be that the rest of the Khan family is still biding their time, hiding away, and if so, for what reason?

Was their family facing extinction perhaps for being descendants of Genghis, as retribution for all the atrocities he previously committed?

Would he be involving Fleur and his family in a potentially dangerous situation, now that the two of them were romantically involved?

There were already too many issues with the planned Triwizard Tournament after all, and that was when it was still in the planning phase.

Now that Jordan Khan had made his appearance however, it seemed that the Triwizard Tournament had gone from bad to worse.

In fact, that was part of the reason that Louis had decided to come over to England; to help provide security and ensure that there were no more hiccups regarding this dangerous tournament his daughter was entered in.

Whether it was The Goblet of Fire being sabotaged, 'The Boy who Lived' being forced to participate in said tournament while still underage, or the kidnapping of a Dragon Mother and her eggs, Louis couldn't help but feel in his gut, that there would be a lot more to come to this Tournament, especially if this much had gone wrong already with only one task completed.

"So you say...." Louis sighed, as thought about all his current worries. "Just be aware that you have my attention bo- Mr. Khan, and I will be reserving judgment for now."

"Thank you sir. I appreciate the opportunity, and won't let you guys down." Khan exhaled, feeling a bit relieved.

"Well, I guess we'll see won't we?" Louis answered mysteriously, staring unblinkingly at Jordan, before breaking eye-contact, noticing that his girls were heading back with drinks in their hands.

"I'll be looking forward to your performance in the coming Triwizard Tournament tasks." He turned back to address Khan, while simultaneously getting out his seat, intending to help his family with their numerous drinks.

Although Jordan appeared quite earnest in his confession just now, and truly appeared to at least have feelings for his daughter, Louis wanted to see if this boy truly had the capabilities necessary to protect his daughter from any of the upcoming dangerous they made have to face in the coming future.

And what better way, than to judge his skills for himself, during the upcoming tasks....

Turning to his family, he was about to greet them, and help them with their drinks, when they were all suddenly interrupted by a loud shout.

"WHO CARES IF HE'S HALF-GIANT? THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH HIM!"

The whole pub had gone quiet; Madam Rosemerta was staring over behind the bar, apparently oblivious to the fact the flagon she was filling with butterbeer was overflowing.

Khan of course, recognized the owner of the rather angry sounding voice; it was Harry of course, and looking over, it appeared he and Hermione were arguing with one Rita Skeeter.

Listening and watching closely, as it involved his younger friends, Khan observed as Hermione stood up very abruptly, her butterbeer clutched tightly in her hand.

"You horrible woman, you don't care do you? Anything for a story, and anyone will do, won't they? Not happy with just talking about Jordan or Harry or Hagrid, but now even Ludo Bagma-"

"Sit down, you silly little girl, and don't talk about things you don't understand." Rita Skeeter cut Hermione off coldly, her eyes hardening as they fell on her. "I know things about Ludo Bagman that would make your hair curl... not that it needs it."

Although Jordan was getting rather upset listening to Rita spew her vitriol, especially towards his 'first' friend, Hermione, he knew that he could not do anything at the moment with his Girlfriend's family present.

If Rita kept this up, perhaps Jordan really would get started on his media related activities, and taking back the controlling narrative, in advance of this coming Summer.....

"Let's go Harry... Come on." Khan watched as Hermione had enough of Rita Skeeter rudeness, grabbing Harry by the hand, as they got up to leave; All of the patrons in the Three Broomsticks watching them as they marched out, hand in hand.
