The Holy Land

When Li Gongyun told the whole story, Leng San even went still for a long while.

“Leng San, in my opinion… the Master may have discovered a way to the life prolongation, as he said. So, don't you assume that he is gone.” Li Gongyun reminded the boy so that Leng San had the power to move on.

But Li Gongyun's heart was leaning toward the belief that Leng Tian only did so because he wanted to give up the little time he had left to encourage Leng San's determination, rather than waste it.

“Master… what is the Holy Land? What kind of place is it? And why one has to go into the Tomb Tower to go to that place?” Leng San was full of questions that popped up in his head.

But the answer was only a slight shake of Li Gongyun's head.

“I don't know, either. Your grandfather had never mentioned this land before. And part of me was waiting to see you to hear the answer, too.” Li Gongyun said back.

“Wait for me? To hear the answer? What do you mean?" Leng San frowned.
