HE'S EVERYWHERE

Wadsworth escorted me out of the mansion after I gave my farewell to Mirabel and Gerald. My presence must have elevated Mirabel's mood seeing how she asked me to visit frequently and even suggested a date when I couldn't give her a specific day I would visit.

At her request, I promised to visit in two days. This was the only way to bend her into accepting my departure this evening. Our connection has become even stronger as we spend some quality time together.

Just as Audrey had informed me earlier, another guard came to pick me up, instead of Zeke. His dull, somewhat livid face wasn't appealing to look at as he rubbed on his mustache while resting on the body of the car, but he stood straight when he saw me approach the car with Wadsworth.

With a slight bow, he greeted me and opened the door for me, holding it till I got into the car and was seated comfortably. My reply earlier with a warm smile didn't stop me from staring at his undeniably specular face.
