Can I join your city?

Dawn had arrived. The sunlight filtered through the dense foliage, casting dappled shadows across the quiet graveyard, creating an image of tranquillity and solemnity.

Amidst the morning mist, the once battle-ridden field was now nothing more than a quiet tombstone, silently watching over the land.

Alexander stood in the cemetery, feeling the peace and warmth of the morning. Beams of sunlight shone on him through the gaps in the leaves, casting a golden halo around him.

He looked away from the grave markers, towards the ancient trees that stood like silent guardians bearing witness to history.

Under the sunlight, the weathered tombstones looked even older, yet each one, still standing erect, seemed to narrate tales of forgotten heroes. Alexander walked past them in silence, gently touching the stones as though he could feel the determination and persistence of the heroes they commemorated.
