A moment of rest (cultivation introduction)

'I've got so much stuff to look through, this is definitely going to take a couple of hours'

While grumbling I start looking through heaps of Cultivation Techniques, most of them only require that your body be as solid as steel, which isn't too bad from what I can tell. However, I still haven't found what I'm looking for yet.

'Hmm~ Not this one either'

'Nope'

'Nuh-uh'

'Not good enough'

Well, it seems like I won't be practicing any techniques for Qi cultivation. I did find some that looked good; however, it wasn't what I was looking for. What about Martial Arts? Oh yeah, for Martial Arts, it was comparable to looking through a fully fledged library.

And so, I started reading, referencing, combining Martial Arts.

Since I was already familiar with Martial Arts thanks to the library at home, now that I have knowledge on how to perform certain movements or how to combine an art together to make an all-rounder Fighting Art, it was as easy as pie… And when I say that I mean, it took me over six hours to find a sweet spot.

The only problem is, when it comes to an all-rounder Martial Art, you tend to not have any mastery in anything. Fuck, time for some more revising.

I thought I would be done doing all these revisions HOURS ago! It's already been half a day since I've been in my head and I still can't figure out what is wrong!

You know what? I'll come back to it later, right now I believe I should look at the scant amount of Dual Cultivation Methods.

But before doing that, just to clear up some of my brain fog I will elaborate on the difference between Art, Technique, and Manual/Method.

Art: Usually in the sense of Martial Art in which it refers to the Art of Warfare, Arts are usually based on a concept; ie: Sexual Arts, Culinary Arts, etc. (Most commonly War since many concepts can be grasped through a certain way of fighting). Also, Arts usually have specific movements to follow to be able to fight of a certain way. If you deviate from the art while using (Cultivation) Qi, you can receive a backlash depending on how far your Qi deviates from the path set. *

*The reason is because there are Meridians within your body (used by both Internal Energy and Cultivation Qi), if your Qi moves out of your Meridians, it's the same as bursting one of your main arteries.

Technique: Techniques are usually a specific move or set of moves to utilize Qi to project something out of the body; ie: Illusionary Arts (Techniques and Arts can intermingle depending on the Master who created it, in this case, The Illusionary Arts would utilize Qi to make yourself less perceptible while the technique would veil your body in a thin layer of Qi rendering you imperceptible to your enemy.) Crushing fist (gigantic fist the size of a house with the weight of 10 tons), Footwork techniques (May possibly be tied to certain Arts or Cultivation Methods.)

For any technique you must enter the realm of the first step (since that's when you can utilize Qi out of your body). **

Manual/Method: This is the way/type of Qi you will be accumulating in your Dantian, there are multitudes of Cultivation Method's and there's also grades on the purity of Qi you can absorb/contain: Yellow, Mortal, Earth, Sky, Heaven, Divine and Ancient. Once you cultivate in a single method, you can't change to another unless you want to start from scratch, which most people wouldn't want to do after having over a thousand years Cultivating; ie: You can't go from fire to ice. You can upgrade Manuals; however, they must be similar in element/Qi usage.

There is one last thing I should probably also mention, Intent.

Intent: Intent is something that develops when either there are strong feelings involved or you have started understanding a weapon, way of living, etc. If there is one thing weapon intents have that is different from other intents, it's the utilization of Qi after reaching a certain understanding. But that's a story for another day.

Cultivation realms:

Mortal realm:

Dantian strengthening (most important step since it will determine whether you can cultivate or not),

Organ refinement,

Blood refinement,

Bone refinement,

Muscle refinement,

Actualization (Half-step)

Realm of the First Step:

**Qi gathering,

Qi condensation,

Foundation solidification,

Golden Core

There are more levels beyond that, however, they don't matter to me right now. I should also clarify that a body cultivator would continue hardening his body even after Actualization. Soul cultivators start cultivating the soul in the Qi gather realm where instead of gathering Qi in their Dantian, can store it in their minds to form a Soul Idol (A replica of yourself).

I couldn't find anything to my liking at the meantime, well, instead of only focusing on Cultivation, I was looking through some Sex Arts… unfortunately, I know the majority of this stuff. Oh well, I'll look at it tomorrow.
