Two Heads Are Better Than One

Anna's legs propelled her through the hallway with urgency. Tears after tears cascaded down her cheeks, dampening her puffy complexion. Her eyes, already swollen from a morning filled with relentless weeping, mirrored her anguish.

Overwhelmed by emotions, her mind was shrouded in a fog of confusion. Unaware of her surroundings, she reached the end of the hallway and found herself standing in the foyer.

The princess felt lost, unsure of where to turn or what course of action to take. Succumbing to the weight of her overwhelming sadness, she flopped onto the floor, surrendering to her despair.

At that moment, Kyren, the man she loved deeply, consumed her thoughts. She reminisced about his tender care, his sense of responsibility, and his unwavering protectiveness.

Though he had never professed his love for her and had even claimed an inability to love anyone, Anna couldn't shake the intuitive sense that he harboured the same emotions within him to her.
