Upon learning of Rafe's arrival at the palace, the king had summoned him discreetly.

The king's eyebrow raised in curiosity. "Observe what? What exactly happened?"

"Your brother-in-law is quite the amusing character. He acted supportively in front of your family, even discussing the dowry and sponsoring a banquet, but then he told you he needed more time to accept the marriage!"

"That's what he said. Until now, I am still living separately from my wife. He made me promise to wait until he accepts the marriage," Rafe added.
