Paul ennede up not clearing his suspicions about Felix already knwoing what was going on. 

He knew for a fact that simply asking him about Alicia or anything that had anything to do with her even remotely would lead to disasater. 

Yes they were the ones who had been her parents growing up but that still did not mean that they had any more rights over Alicia more than the Adams family had. 

Felix might be his best friend and a major soft ball when it comes to Alicia and Chris, but he is still the same man who pointed a gun at him five years ago when Alicia was almost taken into captivity two hours prior. And as a father he understood his frustration really well. 

But what he did not like was not knowing what was going on in Felix's head. He is too meticulous and cunning when he needs to be.
