Secrets and a new sister?

-Peter POV-

Once i was done with the last thug, i swung away from the bus before ripping the webbing off of my face and finally taking in some fresh air. The sweat on my face is is rubbed off with the sleeves of my hoodie before i take it off and run towards uncle bens location in my t-shirt.

The girl is still by my uncle's side as she was explaining something to her phone i flare my hearing and listen "..then the old man was pushed out of the window so i rushed out while all of them were confused and dazed and all of sudden this dude in a web mask comes up to me and sprays some sticky fluid onto the old man's wounds and then you saw what happened inside." She stops as she sees me approach and puts the phone aside before quickly taking a knife and holding it towards me waving it around as she says "don't come close".

I ignore her frantic waving and yell "UNCLE BEN" as i run to his side and kneel down beside him and shout "Ben, ben..." I look up and ask "What happened to him?" with tears in my eyes the girl seems to understand the situation and asks "Do you know him?" I nod as i look to her for answers crying some more so she explains "He's fine he is just unconscious" and i calm down once i hear that and stay silent as the police come closer

They get close with guns raised and the girl shouts "i was the one who called. Please, save him" the officer nods before the paramedics leave with uncle ben on a stretcher, now the cop looked into the building came out and goes in on us as if we were at fault for being out at night. I wasn't in the mood to take shit but i knew he would hold me as witness far longer than necessary if i let my tongue loosen.

I was just about to talk back to the cop when the black cop who talked to me the last time i was involved with the police asked the shouting cop to let him deal with us, he turned to us once the other cop left and asked "So, guys simple question, why were you both out this late?" I was quick to answer with "had a fight with my aunt" and left it at that so he turned to the girl and i too listen as i was curious what a young girl like her was doing outside at so late in the night she shyly says "i am a youtuber and was making a video all day, we hired the bus for it 'WITH A PERMIT' and i asked him if he could drop me close to home and he said he'd do it but then this happened and now we are here"

I wanted to laugh at the coincidence as i am a youtuber too 'birds of a feather flock together' but refrained myself as the cop looks at me and says "Your the flashlight kid from the cafe robbery" he says once he recognises me i nod and hold my hand out to him, as he shakes it i say

"I am Peter, peter parker and the one in the ambulance is my uncle" he says as he looks to the ambulance "i am officer Jefferson Davis you can call me jeff and i can vouch for you kid if you want to go with your uncle"

I nod as i say "I'd like that, thanks" as i was leaving while he talked to someone to let me go with uncle ben the girl asks "can I go with him?" So i stop as officer jeff looks at her in confusion so she explains "He saved my life" and Jefferson nods in understanding before he says "you know what we can't let you go as is cause you are the victim here and we need someone's statement so i'll drop you both at the hospital and come back tomorrow to take a statement, what do you say" we both nod and take his car to the hospital and talk to him about what happened briefly before he changed topics and talked to us about normal teenager stuff.

He leaves once he dropped us off after taking our gaurdians information to contact them about our location and everything, me and the girl walk towards uncle Ben's room as i ask "i don't think i know your name" she looks up at me thoughtfully before she says "Oh i am vinderella" she says and i say "interesting name" she looks at me with a pout and says "it isn't my real name it's my youtuber name" i look at her weirdly before i say "didn't know people used made up names nowadays, hi iam superiornerd" that seems to lighten up the conversation as she chuckles before she says "well you can call me v" i nod and we walk in a more normal silence towards uncle Ben's room.

Uncle ben just woke up from his drug induced sleep and i immediately said "now that you woke up, can you tell me how you did all of that back there?" He smiles lazily as he asks "What?" I smile back holding back the worry i have for him as i ask "The whole 1v5 thing" his smile turns into a wince as he ignores it and asks "is aunt may on the way?" I let him dodge the topic as i sigh and say "She is and i suggest you get some rest before she comes" i leave and stand outside as v stayed behind because i know i am not going to get any answers and i need answers more than anything first.

I saw what he did to those people and it was not possible for a retired police officer like him to do them like that so is ben involved with shield then, that might mean i am already under---watch.

I stretch my senses and call my beating heart so that it doesn't interfere with my search and the world slows down.

I could hear the nurses moving around, the ground rumbling as wheels of various trolleys get pushed around, the breath of a newborn, the cries of a family, the coughs of a child, the doctors prescriptions to a couple, the flaps of a bird, the static of a radio as someone talks through something, it is muffled so it must be in someones ear or something.

I hear as someone says "...listen to me matt, he is retired and only came back to help someone briefly, that's it there's nothing else" the matt guy seems to have had enough and interrupts "easy for you to say, the next time he goes nuts would you be taking the blame for it" the line stays silent for some time so the matt guy says "that's what I thought, I'll observe the situation and put him down if he is going after the Russians".

I tense up when he uses the term 'put him down' i was just about ready to get there and put that son of a bitch down myself before i heard from the static of his earpiece "I'll take the blame for him" matt seems to have been surprised by it as he asks "are you sure about this? i don't have a problem with who dies as long as the case is over with".

The earpiece guy says "this is all a big if we are talking about" matt gets frustrated as he asks "Not as big as you think, he did it before what's stopping him now" the earpiece man says one word "family".

I stop listening as V comes out and sits next to me and asks "is your uncle a super secret spy?" i chuckle as i say "i wish" we both laugh at that before we stop and stop and stay silent for a while before she starts crying as the events of the day set in.

I didn't know what i could do for her other than stay silent and lend an ear for her to talk to or a shoulder to lean on it was her choice to take it or not and she took it as she broke down just as aunt may came to the hospital.
