Life is Hard

Present day, When Persona was two, Kris was in therapy & Had been bailed out by Tony, his BFF. Kris was getting help for his obsession & Bipolar disorder and was admitted to an asylum by Addy, Kris' mother & his father, Johnathan.

When Persona was 5, Kris was released from the asylum. Kris' insurance had been dropped, so the asylum said, "Screw him being a danger to society in his mental health; let's let him out!" & Dropped Kris.

Kris was taking his meds, Lina was back in Heaven, and Cara & Tony cared for Persona.

Bipolar I disorder is defined by manic episodes that last for at least 7 days (nearly every day for most of the day) or by manic symptoms that are so severe that the person needs immediate medical care. Usually, depressive episodes also occur, typically lasting at least 2 weeks.

People with bipolar experience both episodes of severe depression and episodes of mania – overwhelming joy, excitement or happiness, colossal energy, a reduced need for sleep, and reduced inhibitions. The experience of bipolar is uniquely personal. No two people have precisely the same experience.

Kris held his head in his hands. Kris wanted her back, but not as much, to be honest. He tried to get his life together. Honestly, Kris was still into her, but minimally, now. He had no desire to stalk her anymore.

Kris decided to get a job as a Lift engineer.

It's twilight with light snow falling, and Kris is in a forest with a dream-like feel.

Kris is at his job, actually. He's driving the Lift. They're working on a house in town, and the trees they cut down to gain wood and space to build the home is being replaced by trees being planted. Bees and animals are being relocated.

Kris was working, then suddenly felt overwhelming joy; this made his work much more manageable as he had no inhibitions. He allowed them to tell him what to do as he liked having a job.

Once he got home, he had a major depressive episode and began to call all his contacts; Lina had not unblocked him, so he called her friend, Alice, who then connected him to Lina through a two-way call.

Alice awkwardly told Lina on the phone, "Kris has a depressive episode due to his bipolar disorder." It was awkward because Kris was abusive, and she knew it, and Lina told her.

With a bottomless pit in the middle of her stomach, Lina replied, "What? I thought he was getting the help he deserved?"

Alice said, "Kris got dropped by the asylum because his insurance dropped him." Alice felt guilty because Kris was abusive, yet they both came asking the victim of his abuse for favors.

Lina says that "I'll get it back up. It's easy. Just ask God," Then, he hung up and handled the situation with the insurance and the asylum to get the needed help.

Kris got re-admitted to the asylum by his father, Johnathan, but Kris could still keep his job. Still, his father had to convince them to let him go to work at the hours his career wanted.

Kris had issues in the asylum this time, but he got a lot of help with his mental health. Kris was just angry at Lina for putting him in here. They controlled you on a tight leash. Kris was only allowed outside when he had to go to work.

His mental illness caused him to attack others, which improved over time.

Kris was released in 2043 due to being deemed mentally stable and consistently taking his medication; when Persona was 6, Kris visited her for her birthday the day he was released.

Tony took him aside at the birthday party and told him, "You shouldn't use her to get your ex back. I want you to leave. She has a much brighter future ahead of her."

Kris said that "I'm not even into Lina anymore, so I don't want to use her for that. I want to join the birthday party with the girl I adopted."

Tony gave him the most disdainful look since Kris wasn't a part of her life for years but allowed him to stay at the party with a single, signaling nod.

Tony celebrated Persona's birthday party with her; Persona did not remember him, so he played with her and became her BFF. Persona is living with Cara and Tony at this point in time, of course.

In 2044, Kris was in the car with both of his parents. Kris was driving. He had a manic episode and moved faster and faster, his father tried to force the vehicle to slow down by lifting his foot over the passenger seat into the driver's seat area where the break was, but it was too late.

Kris had crashed his car into Tony's car. Tony was driving to work while his family played dominoes at home. Tony and Kris' father went into a coma. Kris felt terrible and went into a depressive episode; Kris felt like an idiot for even driving with his mental illness. He had forgotten to take his medicine that day, making him feel even worse.

What killed Kris was that Tony was also in a coma; Tony had been by his side through it all.

3 days later, Kris began to ask Lina for help to awaken his loved ones; Lina got angry at him because she thought he was just trying to get her back & yelled, "Go away!" Then slammed the door in his face.

Kris was freaking out, so he left & his mental state deteriorated immensely. Kris quickly began making plans. Cara was devastated & began praying way harder for Tony while Kris' Mother, Addy, began to plan life without Kris' dad.

Persona was unaware as she was told lies about what was happening; she was only seven, so she believed the lies.

4 weeks later, Cara began to lose faith & started having one-sided arguments with God, and was trying to convince God to awaken Tony, her beloved husband, and Persona overhead & knew what was happening.

4 days later, Persona went to the hospital with Cara, who looked at her stepfather, Tony, & prayed for him because she was worried he couldn't wake up.
