Ardala raised a shaking hand to touch her neck as Vajra slumped to the ground senseless, the ghost of his claws still burning her skin. She looked at Lord Ren who was stepping towards Vajra with a ball of energy in his palm and an awful look on his face. Ardala stepped around Lord Ren and went to stand over Vajra. “Please, you must not harm him.”


“I will not harm him; I will place him in stasis for transport to the Lyceum.” Lord Ren looked over at the pactbreaker with a quirked eyebrow. “Am I correct in that you will need assistance to break this pact?”


“I will require at least one more pactbreaker in order to uproot the Chaos that exists in this man.” The Pactbreaker Aarav looked over at Ardala. “My sincere apologies, High Princess, I should have placed him in stasis prior to attempting to force the thread of Chaos to the surface.”
