“Mother is sharp and will be difficult to fool.” Naerin said, now staring off into the middle distance. “However, she will likely only send an observer to see that things between us progress as expected. They may be more or less easy to fool depending on who they are. If the person she sends is my twin, we will need to be as convincing as possible.”


“We need guidelines for this.” Siana said, leaning back in her chair. “No sex, that’s a hard limit for me, I won’t sleep with you.” 


Naerin gave her a look she couldn’t track the contents of. “I would not ask that of you, it would be inappropriate.” 


“Ok, second thing,” Siana said, trying to figure this terrible idea out. It was a terrible idea, but it would work and neither of them were the type to catch feelings. “How comfortable are you with affection, I imagine we’ll be expected to put on a show while our observer is here, so hand holding and stuff.”
