Chapter 63

“Is that a risk?” Siana lifted her head from Naerin’s shoulder and stepped out of his arms to face Pryderin. “I didn’t feel eaten the last time I took them.”

Pryderin nodded, brow furrowing. “It is a risk, though not a large one. The training is mostly to understand how to balance the needs of the circles with your own needs. “Ok, so who gets to be my shadow again?” Siana asked the dragon. “Is it you? Am I moving in for a couple of months so you can keep an eye on me?” She wasn’t even sure if she was being sarcastic now. She’d taken on a huge responsibility, but she’d known she was going to do it for a while. She wanted to help these people, wanted to belong here, wanted to be home. Now she was, home with the boys and Naerin and the elder fae. She wondered what Gladys would have to say.
