Walking up to the desk, I can't help but look at the female hero who's handing out our schedules. She has pink hair that is constantly floating in the air and really pink eyes, and those eyes give you a sense of security. She's quite the charmer.
"Hello. I am Fabulous girl, and what might your hero name be?"
"I'm Disrupt."
"OH your Disrupt, I heard something about you making the highest scores on the exams."
"Yeah. That would be me."
"Well, that's amazing for you. Let me stop wasting your time, hear take this paper, it's your schedule for this semester the room numbers are beside your classes."
Grabbing said paper, I take a quick glance.
Schedule:
Advanced law. Room number: 18
Training and Exercising. Room number: 26
Hero tactics. Room number: 7
Hero training. Room number: 8
Advance law first period. Oh my God.
Finding my first period class is pretty easy considering this absolutely ginormous school. stepping into advanced law, I quickly look at the teacher. He has an exetremly nerdy look about him, he has huge glasses on and hair that is greased back.
"Sit wherever you want and get your notebook out."
I sit in the back of the classroom, not wanting to provide attention to myself.
About three minutes after I sit down, the bell rings
*clap *clap
"Okay, students, I want everyone to prepare for taking notes, but before I get into today's lesson, I want to explain why you're having this class. Advanced law is for the people who obviously are smarter than the average students, but the reason why we take law is simple, you can't go around hurting or even killing villains without a cause, you need probable cause. That's why I'm here to teach you what you caint and can do when it comes to fighting in the real world, I will also discuss with you at the end of the year about getting your own lawyer."
The teacher takes a moment to take a deep breath.
"Okay, let's get into today's topic."
After an hour of him constantly talking and constant note-taking, the bell rings. I take a second to look at my schedule again. Training and Exercising.
when I finally find the room, the bell rings, and I hurry inside.
"Right on time, take a seat."
I take a seat, again in the very back.
"okay everyone my hero name is Brawster. as many of you might already know, I'm very big about taking down criminals that's specifically why I'm going to be teaching you, so you can get in here train your abilities, and work your body to its limits. Does everyone understand that?"
"Yes, ma'am."
"Alright, let's get to work then."
After a long time of training, mainly to control my ability. The bell rings.
I'm walking into Hero tactics when I get stopped by someone.
"Hello, Disrupt, do you remember me?"
"yeah your the announcer from the exams."
"Right on."
Taking a closer look at this man, he's wearing an expensive tuxedo, with a nice little bow tie. He has brown hair that is exetremly well done, and his eyes share the same color with his hair.
"Alright, take a seat somewhere in the second row."
Dammit there are six rows, and im in the front. That's probably why he's standing at the doorway so he can assign seats.
One minute passes, and the bell rings.
"Okay everyone welcome to hero tactics. In this class, you will be learning when to attack, retreat, or when to buy time for others, obviously that's not the only thing we will be going over but it's the basics, I'm not going to just cram a bunch of stuff in your head as soon as you walk in. Okay, now that we got that out of the way, grab a book and turn to page four."
an hour later
Okay, I definitely found the most boring class ever. He literally went over commen since. I really hope Hero training is what it's made out to be.
minutes later
"okay class my hero name is Skyhawk, and I will be your hero training teacher. This class is exactly what it sounds like, I'll be paring you into groups, and you will be training as heroes, maybe sometimes even being villains. Of course, that's just pretending, though. Today, we will be playing capture the flag. If you want, you can imagine this as infiltrating a villain base to capture back a teammate or a civilian, but in essence it's just capture the flag, everyone knows the rules, so I'm just going to be giving the rules that the school provides. no killing or serious injuries, and please don't destroy too much land, just a little, not a lot. Does everyone understand?"
"Yes, ma'am!"
The whole class, which is made up of 15 students. Walks into a training arena. It's all flat, no obstacles. On each side of the arena is a flag, one blue, one red.
"In the first round, we will have Shining Justice, Streetfighter, and Bass Boost vs. Disrupt, Shield Barrier, and Dark Alley.
Both teams walk up to a flag. Our flag is the red flag, which faces to the right of the view the class gets.
We have two minutes to prepare.
I ask, "So what is everyone's power so we can come up with a game plan?"
Shield Barrier says, in a very feminine voice. "I can create a shield, in the shape of a dome, no one can enter or leave."
Dark Alley says, "Oh wow, that's impressive."
I say, "What about you?"
"I can turn into anyone's Shadow or manipulate someone's shadow to do my bidding." Dark Alley answers with a masculine voice.
Shield Barrier asks, "What about you, Disrupt?"
"I can break anything I come into contact with."
"Okay, that's gonna be hard to use since we ain't supposed to break much of anything."
"Yes, but I can still break a little, which should be enough."
Dark Alley jumps into the conversation. "Okay, we need to make a plan fast."
I answer, "It's simple, really. Shield Barrier stays back protecting the flag, Dark Alley turns into someone's shadow so he can be near the enemies flag, and I'll stay in the middle as a distraction."
"That's a good idea. I see why you made the highest scores now." Shield Barrier says.
We all get in positions, waiting for the gunshot to go off.
A loud pop sound can be heard. I look over at Dark Alley and see he is gone.
"Go ahead, disrupt. I promise they won't get past my defenses, and good luck." Shield Barrier says
I turn my head, looking straight at her. "Good luck to you too."
I then immediately run as fast as possible straight ahead. I can see from a distance four figures, three running straight my way, and one running the opposite. Good job, Dark Alley.
Luckily for the opponent's we had a radius in which we could start and all three of them started the farthest they could go away from the flag.
So Dark Alley has to run 50 feet before he can get the flag, then turn into Shield Barriers shadow. Focusing on my task at hand, I smash my hand onto the ground, causing as minor of a break as possible. The ground beneath the three of them start to crack and shake, causing them to go off balance. I take this chance to run closer to them.
I'm about 20 feet away from them, when one of them, I recognize as Bass Boost holds out one hand, and immediately, an earsplitting ringing sound occurs in my ears. I drop to my hands and knees and cover my ears.
One of them took this opportunity to shoot a beam of light at me. This sent me flying back. I hit the ground rolling, I managed to stop myself, and I took this moment to assess my damages. My skin is mildly burnt, and everything hurts.
I see that they are now not far from me. I smash my hand on the ground, causing more cracks and shaking, but this time, I put more power into it. the shaking has caused two of them to lose their balance and fall, but the other is still standing. I notice his hand is glowing yellow.
He shoots a huge beam of light, twice as strong as the last one right at me. The beam hits me full force, causing me to fly backward even farther than last time. When I hit the ground, I roll until I come to a stop.
I try to move any limb on my body, but it doesn't work, I then fill incredibly dizzy, and then...
