Homura's uncontrollable excitement surged as he sent out a mass message to Eriri and the others, urging them to record videos.
"What's so special about this song?" Someone muttered in the crowd. "Is it a different style? But what's so special about that?"
"No lyrics maybe? That's pretty unique, right?"
"Nope, wrong answer, what a shame!" Honoka shook her head.
"Can we have a hint?" Someone from the crowd asked.
"Hmm..." Honoka furrowed her brow and began to ponder.
"A hint... Lyrics and composition." Honoka looked around at everyone and smiled. "How about that? Pretty obvious, right?"
"Lyrics and composition... If you're specifically hinting at that, then you mean your group didn't write the lyrics and composition?"
"Hey, this guy's guess is interesting! If it's not them who wrote the lyrics and composition..."
"Then it's Minamiya-sensei, right?"
"This is a song written by Minamiya-sensei! Am I right?"
"Bingo! Correct!" Honoka said cheerfully.
It wasn't just the spectators; even Kaguya and her group, as well as Fumino and her group, became enthusiastically engaged. Situations like this always pique people's interest.
"Next up! A song by Minamiya-sensei—'Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss (Gokuraku Jodo)'. Our performance for all of you!"
Homura playfully snapped his fingers and then started the accompaniment. The familiar faces among the crowd couldn't help but give him strange looks.
As the prelude began, everyone was amazed by its strong sense of rhythm. This song had only been heard by those in Another Dimensions and Muse, and its debut was indeed something else. It had an irresistible swaying effect!
Looking at the enchanting butterfly steps, many young ladies couldn't help but feel their hearts race!
The thought in their minds was unanimous—"I want to dance to this!"
"When moonlight climbs the sky~"
"And the lanterns are lit~"
"At the sign of festival music~"
"A butterfly extends an invitation~"
"Just peer inside and take a look~"
"Once you wander in, you can't escape!~"
"But if you wanna do something fun~"
"Come on over to the Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss!~"
As she heard the song, Fumino couldn't help but blush slightly. 'The lyrics are so sensual, and it's really impressive that Minamiya-kun could write something like this...'
As the song progressed, Utaha and the others felt moved. They had seen videos of Homura dancing to this song before, so they understood that Honoka and the others had indeed practiced hard. With Eli's guidance, their performance was really fantastic!
"Let's try something 'fun'~"
In this part, due to the sensual move, perhaps due to embarrassment, the three girls of Muse, cleverly arranged their angles and positions so that the crowd didn't notice anything unusual and believed it was intended to be this way.
Homura chuckled and shook his head; this was a kind of cleverness.
Muse smoothly carried on, and soon, the song concluded as well.
All nine of them were sweating and catching their breath hard. No wonder, the choreography was quite demanding, especially following the three previous songs. Achieving this level as a newbie school idol was already impressive!
Despite that, Muse didn't show any signs of ending immediately. At the very least, they were going to do another song, but they needed a bit of a break.
As Homura thought about this, Nozomi's eyes subtly shifted, and her lips curved into a charming smile.
Suddenly, he had a bad feeling.
"Hey, everyone!" Nozomi panted, her body weary but still sporting a smile. "Wanna know a little tidbit?"
"Of course! Be it small or big, if it's some gossip, we're all ears!" Someone from the crowd responded.
"Alright then! No need to keep you all in suspense!" Nozomi glanced at Homura.
Homura's eye twitched and then sighed. It seemed like he had to sacrifice himself.
"So, the scoop is, besides composing and writing lyrics, Minamiya-sensei also choreographed this song!"
Everyone fell silent.
Elf, Megumi, Eriri, and Utaha exchanged knowing smiles, catching on to Nozomi's intention behind this revelation.
Nanami was slightly puzzled at first, but after a moment, she let go of her doubts.
Nayuta was ecstatic; no matter what Homura did, as long as he got to perform, she'd probably react the same way.
"Ehh?!" Fumino covered her mouth in surprise. "Minamiya-kun actually choreographed this sensual dance?!"
Recalling the dance moves of Muse girls earlier and replacing their faces with Homura's face, Fumino's expression turned absolutely horrified in an instant.
Others had similar reactions as her, but there were even more whose expressions were gradually turning mischievous.
Right on cue, Nozomi's voice rang out.
"Everyone! Wanna see Minamiya-sensei perform?"
""Absolutely!""
Nozomi beamed, turning to Homura.
"Then, let's invite Minamiya-sensei to give it a go!"
"...What about the song?" Homura asked tiredly while rubbing his face.
"What song?"
"For accompaniment. You're not planning to make me sing, are you?"
"It's in the laptop." Maki suddenly spoke up.
"..." Homura fell silent.
"Okay, okay! I'll do it alright!" Homura's mouth twitched and accepted his fate.
Seeing this, Nozomi simply smiled without saying anything.
Exiting the accompaniment folder and going to another song's folder, Homura indeed found several completed songs, including the ones Muse had sung just now, plus the ones he had given them in the past.
"Alright then, leave the stage to me." Homura beckoned and, with a wave, handed control of the laptop to Maki.
"Take a good break for a while; next up is your final performance." Homura whispered as he bypassed them.
Nozomi temporarily turned off her microphone and chuckled. "Yeah, we've decided the same. This dance is pretty tiring, so we'll let Homura-kun take the spotlight as we rest."
"I get it." Homura nodded and turned to face the crowd.
"By the way... Why am I always on stage?" Homura muttered to himself. "Clearly, I'm not the main character today..."
"But the main character today specifically requested you on stage!" Someone in the crowd teased.
""Hahaha~!""
"Right..." Homura shrugged, raising his hands. "Let's just say I'm a special guest performer!"
"I'm a Mangaka, mind you... yet they make me dance. Such a weird feeling..." Homura muttered again with a hint of bitterness.
"But wouldn't drawing a manga at a concert be even weirder?"
"Huh? That actually makes sense! Hahaha!" Homura laughed, though he knew he was deliberately playing along with them, the feeling of quipping with the crowd was quite enjoyable.
"Alright then! Let's stop chit-chatting and get started for real!"
