Voice Acting Role (I)

Time passed by and it was already Friday evening.

It was time for Homura to announce the voice-acting cast list.

"Three days have gone by, and everyone has made unimaginable progress. You've all learned a lot."

Homura spoke with a smile as he looked at everyone.

"So, I want to ask you all... Can you tell, or feel, which role suits you the best?"

"I think I'm still suited for a silent character..."

Megumi blinked and replied with a flat tone.

"Not just that." Homura wagged his finger. "You can adapt to various roles, like a timid one or even a mature one. But for now, the silent role suits you better. Still, everyone can adapt to multiple roles down the line. So, let's hear what roles you think you fit right now."

As his voice trailed off, the girls pondered for a moment before tentatively expressing their thoughts.

Honoka: "Energetic?"

Umi: "Serious?"

Nico: "I'm probably a loli, right?"

Maki: "Me? How would I know—"

"Tsundere." Homura suddenly interrupted.

""Pffft!""

Several girls couldn't help but burst into laughter, but they managed to stifle it.

Clearly, these were none other than Nico, Rin, and Honoka.

Maki glared menacingly at Homura with a slight blush, but his thick skin rendered her efforts useless.

Eli thought for a moment, then spoke up.

"I might be the serious type?"

"Cold..." Homura chimed in.

Truly, he was completely used to Eli's aloofness, so her playing a 'cold' character was truly fitting.

However, Eli was slightly annoyed at his word.

However, after thinking about it carefully, she realized that it might indeed suit her.

"I think I'm into mature characters?" Nozomi asked.

"In that case, Rin is energetic?" Rin hesitantly added.

"I'm probably a shy one..." Hanayo said shyly.

"Hmm, what would suit me?" Kotori looked a bit puzzled.

"I'll address that later."

Homura replied to Kotori, then turned to those who hadn't spoken yet.

"Go on."

"I'm probably similar to my sister." Yukiho responded.

"I think I'm suited for the role of younger sister..." Alisa added.

Hearing their answers, Homura nodded.

Although Nanami hadn't spoken, he knew exactly what suited her, unlike the others who were still somewhat uncertain.

"Let me announce the most suitable roles for everyone right now."

Upon hearing Homura's words, the girls fell silent, eagerly awaiting his announcement.

"Honoka is best suited for a lively and clumsy character."

"Kotori is a natural fit as an airhead character, though you also work well as a manipulative character."

Hearing this, Kotori subtly glanced at Homura's waist, considering where to pinch.

"Umi fits well as a dignified character... or one with that ideal Japanese charm, like a Yamato nadeshiko."

Homura's initial words were fine, but the latter ones made Umi blush with embarrassment.

"Eli-senpai, you totally fit the role of a cool character, kind of like an elegant goddess or a rich girl."

Eli raised an eyebrow but remained silent.

"Nozomi-senpai fits a character with mature air."

Nozomi's mouth curled up slightly.

"Nico-senpai can fit a variety of characters, like loli, little sister, or tsundere, and maybe even more in the future."

Nico proudly puffed out her chest.

"Maki is perfect for a tsundere and a rich girl—alright, don't give me that look. You really fit these characteristics quite nicely, y'know. If you're not satisfied, work hard to fit into other roles."

"Don't worry! I'll make sure you see it! Hmph!" Maki responded indignantly. 'Admitting to being a tsundere? Hmph! I certainly am not one!'

"Hanayo is a good fit for a character with a clumsy, motherly personality and a natural airhead vibe."

"Rin is perfect as an athletic character, full of energy, and... probably a cat girl."

"Nyaa, nyaa, nyaa?" Rin wore a puzzled expression.

"See, she's a cat girl!"

Homura spread his hands toward her, then turned to the two little sisters.

"Yukiho is now quite similar to Honoka, but in the future, there will be many roles that suit you."

"Alisa, the same goes for you. I actually have high hopes for both you and Yukiho."

Homura spoke with a smile while looking at their surprised expressions.

"Now, it's the main event... voicing characters in the game. I will assign suitable roles to each of you."

Homura thought for a long time and finally came up with a list.

Even though they might have some issues with these roles, he had decided that all weekend training would be tailored to improve their compatibility with the characters.

"First is Saber, Artoria Pendragon..." Homura scanned the girls.

Although they appeared unfazed, who could truly remain calm? They had all read the script and knew the importance of this character!

Finally, Homura's gaze settled on Umi.

"!!!"

"Me?"

Umi was dumbfounded, pointing to herself in disbelief.

Homura simply nodded without saying anything.

"But—"

Before she could finish her words, Honoka and Kotori became excited.

"Amazing, Umi-chan! You're the main character! She is the main character you know!" Honoka's eyes sparkled.

"That's right!" Kotori nodded enthusiastically. "You truly have a dignified air about you. After Homura-kun said it, I think Umi-chan is a perfect fit!"

"But... I'm the main character..." Umi wore a pained expression. "Is it really okay for a complete beginner like me? I'm sure there are more suitable professionals, right?"

She was afraid of the immense pressure.

She had initially thought she was getting a minor role, but she was mistaken.

"Okay, no worries!" Homura waved his hand. "You know, there's still time. Besides, your vocal quality is already excellent. Trust me, over the next few days, I'll definitely teach you to be fit for the main character's role!"

With that, he gave a mischievous smile, leaving Honoka and Nanami with puzzled expressions.

"However, I won't put too much pressure on you." Homura continued. "In the next few days, just do your best to master all the techniques I've taught you. In the first place, when it comes to equally suitable voice actor candidates, I naturally prioritize you first as my own people."

Umi finally breathed a sigh of relief, thinking that if she couldn't meet the requirements, Homura would replace her with others. Although she felt a bit disappointed, the pressure had significantly eased.

'But... my own people...'

Umi thought in a daze as he gazed at Homura.

Homura smiled and didn't say anything more.

However, his current expression indicated that he was serious.

Clearly, the intensive training awaiting Umi was going to be hellish.

"Starting as the main character, who would've thought..." Eli marveled at Umi's role in the game. "Homura-kun sure has guts."

"Because I believe you all can do it. I trust all of you and trust my own judgment." " Homura smiled calmly, then looked at everyone once more. "Yosh, let's continue!"

As if on cue, the girls felt their hearts tighten, without any prior arrangement.
