The Nineteenth Wife of the Vampire King

Since the food is here, Venera heartlessly threw Caius' arms around her and quickly escaped from his clutches. She was eagerly waiting at the head of the bed for the food to arrive.


Caius let out a soft, helpless sigh and a light chuckle at Venera's quick series of actions.


His heart leaped and fell so quickly in just a few minutes of time together.


Then he was left empty-handed, but there was nothing he could do about it.


"So heartless." Caius sighed softly and stretched out his hand to pinch the soft flesh on Venera's face. But facing the little girl's questioning and eager eyes, he could only sigh helplessly and let go of his hand on her cheek. He then faced the door and said in a cold tone, "Come in."


With these two words, the doors to the vampire king's chamber were opened, and servants filed inside the room carrying trays of food.
