Divine Phoenix Feather

Venera nodded.

"Thus on the very same night, the Naga made a wish—a wish to become a full human—a wish so that that beautiful woman with whom he fell in love at first sight would love him as much as he does her," Micah said. "The divine phoenix feather spoke to the Naga in his mind; for the feather to fulfill his wish, he would need the blood of his clansmen."

"This sounds dangerous," Venera said. It reminded her of mail scams that she received in her mailbox, PUAs, and the like. Anyway, everything sounded sketchy, like a siren's allure.

"It is dangerous," Caius finally said after being silent for a long time. "Vera, you can never trust dangerous things like this."

"I see." Venera nodded in Caius' arms. "But is there a divine phoenix feather in the world?"

"This is debatable," Caius said. "There is a legend about its whereabouts, but no one could really make sure of it."

Venera caught the keywords and immediately asked, "Where is it located?"
