Through Many Trials and Errors

The two people—one vampire adult and one human child—came into the library. Venera decided to change the thick book that she had originally gotten from the library into one of Number Ten's recommendations. It was a book that taught how to weave a sword tassel with a hundred and one different methods. There were even beautiful illustrations in it.

But when the little girl flipped through the many different pages and clearly saw the content of the book, she fell silent.

"This has a good meaning," Number Ten said as he pointed to one of the knotting methods. "What do you think, Your Majesty?"

"…Yes," Venera replied falteringly. Her voice was failing her. She swallowed dryly before continuing in a strained voice, "That... that is fine, yes. That is fine, um, fine."

No, that is not fine. Not fine at all.

Venera fretted in her mind.
