The Battle (2)

The magic that formed these fine needles was not wasted after they were cut; they had actually condensed into a large, invisible ball made out of fine needles. Although Caius could not see the spherical mass of fine needles, when the mass of fine needles attacked him, he let his intuition guide him, and his body instinctively dodged it in the air.

When missed, the mass of fine needles actually changed their direction to turn around and strike back again after failure, so Caius flipped his body to turn around with the help of his wings, and then he threw his sword. A line of black mist was drawn into the air, accelerating as it accurately struck the fine needles that were condensed into a ball.
