The Vampire King's Condition

Something was strange, but Alex just could not pinpoint where it was. He would have believed it more if the vampire king's current state was all because of Seth rather than just the poison.

So, had Seth said something to Caius to make him end up this way, or maybe Seth had hit Caius with some powerful magic to influence his mind so that he would experience continuous nightmares right now?

Alex first narrowed his beautiful pink eyes and then gave up thinking in the next second.

Honestly, the more Alex thought about it in his head, the more confused he became, so it was just better for him to rest his mind by the side while thinking about nothing.

Anyway, he could do nothing either because Caius would not even react to any stimulus from the outside world. No matter how much he (Alex) had tossed and turned the man to wake up from his own "nightmare" that he was suffering from, Caius just would not budge.
