New Plans

"Dang!" Brandon was dumbfounded seeing the gigantic reception area that was about 40 stories tall and the width of a professional football field.

Brandon wondered how he hadn't seen such a huge place when he entered the general market.

You could see different creatures coming in and out of the place, some selling merchandise, others making reports, while others running errands. It seemed like the market covered many areas.

The group joined a line and after a few minutes of waiting, they reached the reception.

Dereck and Jin Na were able to register, but they were surprised that Brandon also registered. "Are you joining the free hunt? We can team up," Dereck proposed.

Brandon shook his head. "I'm just taking it as a precaution, I don't know if I'll need it in the future, and it doesn't hurt to have it now or later."

Although the truth was that Brandon was considering joining the free hunt class, as he wanted to test his thunder skills in combat, he couldn't just let someone see his ability since he had another one registered.

The three left the reception and walked around the market for a while, until it was time to go back. Brandon saw some interesting things that he would like to buy when he returned, but he didn't have enough Star coins.

This was the universal currency used, the school provided 300 Star coins to each student every month for basic expenses.

Brandon said goodbye to Dereck and Jin Na and went to his room, it had been a pretty long day.

He felt like he had spent an eternity in this place, but it was normal, time passed differently than on Earth, the days and nights were longer.

When he got to his room, he found his classmates there. They were excited to see him, and Thomas was the first to speak.

"You were amazing when you fought in the cafeteria, I thought you were just a technician, but you proved that even a technician can be strong in combat," he said.

"Huh? It's obvious, we humans rely on statistics, with enough statistics and combat skills, you can hold your own in a fight, although we would lose in special abilities, we still have a chance," Brandon said as he walked to take another shower, he had been in the training area and hadn't taken a shower yet.

"You've already slept twice today, you're not going to sleep again, are you?" Pedro, his other roommate, asked.

"I thought you hadn't come back, I didn't know you saw me sleeping," he said feeling a little embarrassed that they labeled him as lazy.

"We saw you, but we decided to leave to not make too much noise and disturb your sleep," Susy spoke this time.

Brandon didn't bother to keep talking, he walked and went to take a shower. When he came back, something crossed his mind. He saw Susy and Deisy. "Wait, shouldn't you be in another room? A girls' room, for example."

Susy and Deisy looked a little embarrassed as he only had a towel on. "Unfortunately, the technical team only has this room, so we have to share it. But it's not so bad, we have magic runes that isolate our beds from the others, the school gave us these," Susy explained.

When he heard this word, Brandon was surprised. Magic runes were something that only some races or one of the 5 families specialized in sorcery, the "Rothschild," could do.

He went into the bathroom with clothes in his arms to change inside. When he came out, he went straight to his bed and fell asleep immediately.

It was early in the morning, Brandon was sitting on his bed while reviewing some notes he had written on his laptop earlier.

Create artificial intelligence chip

Join free hunting.

Get a mask.

New identity name.

Increase power -]

He had thought about creating an artificial intelligence chip, his plan was to integrate and have it as a second brain, with the function of increasing his level of thinking.

He got up from bed and left the room with his hair tousled and free. He looked for the school reception office and as he did, he looked around to see if he saw Dereck.

Luckily he wasn't there, so he walked to the reception and asked for the form to join the free hunting. The registration was very easy and simple, the free hunting would start in a week and he would be given protective equipment.

Outside the reception, he headed to the computer workshop. There was hardly anyone there, it seemed like a deserted place.

Although he couldn't use the outside machinery, the programming language used was the same, only associated with magic.

When he connected to a computer, something he couldn't imagine happened.

[Compatible magic equipment found...]

[Copying functions...]

["Interface" created]

["Programming" created]

["Create" added]

He didn't know something like this could happen, if it were outside he could even become the greatest hacker, but that wasn't what he wanted.

He wanted adventure, to feel free and even though he didn't consider it before because he had no power. Now he could join his father in the higher hunting dimension.

He had only seen it a few times, but his father always told Brandon about his adventures, but it didn't last long before he returned to the dimensions.

['Computer Interface'] Allows the use of different tools without the need for magic equipment.

['Program'] Allows editing and creation of data more easily.

"Very ambiguous what this ability allows," he thought.

['Create'] Uses the ability to convert energy into matter, the capacity is based on the user's energy, the rarer the material, the more energy is needed.

When he read the last part, he realized that he was already a living trap, "What is the author thinking?".

(NOTE: Sorry for breaking the fourth wall)

"Screen interface - Program"

A black floating window appeared. [Enter your ideas, the system will convert them into code, and you can modify it]

Thinking about how he should start, he imagined an artificial intelligence that would not challenge his orders or have thoughts against him.

He didn't know if such a basic concept could be achieved, but immediately, a large amount of code began to be written on the black screen, consuming energy as it went.

The best part was that he could understand the process as the code was executed. This was convenient as he could modify the code himself and not be so dependent on his ability.

[Remaining time - 3 dimensional days]

Energy consumption was minimal, so he didn't worry about it. He would wait for it to finish before using the create ability. Dismissing the window, he walked out of the technical area and went to one of his classes.
