Don’t you have me now?

Aeneas watched the healer who was bandaging the wound on Selah's palm. His wife didn't seem to move, even though her face showed anxiety. Even in her sleep, Selah looked uneasy.

After finishing with Selah, the healer motioned for Aeneas to follow him outside.

"Physically, Her Highness' condition is fine. Her pulse is indeed too fast, but it will gradually return to normal," the doctor explained.

"And that requires serenity and good rest," continues Aeneas.

The healer nodded. "Yes, but unfortunately, as Your Highness have seen for yourself…."

Selah will not be able to calm down. Not if something's still bothering her.

"I suggest that Her Highness take some time to calm down, Your Highness," said the doctor. "I heard, Her Highness went straight to work right back from your honeymoon."

"You know very well how the Royal Palace is now," sighed Aeneas.

The healer let out a long breath. "I've given her a sedative. Hopefully, the problem that is befalling Her Highness will be resolved soon," he said, then left.

Aeneas returns to Selah. His wife was still unconscious with a worried expression; her brow furrowed and her finger twitched occasionally.

Aeneas squeezed Selah's hand lightly, trying to calm her down. Occasionally he also rubbed her forehead, hoping the wrinkles in her eyebrows would disappear. Aeneas wants at least Selah to have a peaceful sleep.

"What must I do to make you forget about it, Selah? Don't you have me now?" whispered Aeneas. "Am I too selfish if I ask you to look ahead with me?"

Tears dripped from Selah's eyes. Aeneas kisses her, then leaves her in the care of the knight.

"Crown Prince Blair." Aeneas hastily stood up from his seat when he saw Blair enter his study. "What brings you here?"

Blair motioned for him to sit down. "I heard that… Lady--ehm--Princess Selah is sick," he said, sounding unsure when he mentioned Selah's name. "Go back to your palace and accompany her."

Aeneas tries to smile. "How can I do that, Your Highness? The current work is piling up. Moreover, my wife is also sick. If I leave my job too, other jobs will be hampered," he said.

"You look terrible, Aeneas," said Blair worriedly. He approached Aeneas and examined his face. "You haven't been getting much rest lately, have you? Just like… Lady Selah."

"Don't worry, Your Highness. I've been a bit tired from work lately, but that's not why my wife is sick," says Aeneas. "After all, when it comes to being busy, aren't you just as busy as the others?"

"Well… that's certainly true. I just didn't think…"

Aeneas watches Blair silently. Judging from his reactions and expressions, it seems he doesn't know yet that his lover just threw a tantrum.

Should Aeneas tell him and create a small spark? Aeneas is very aware that his brother is worried about his wife. A normal husband would normally be angry, but Aeneas…

"I'll finish this one, then return to keep Selah company," Aeneas promised. "Because this one is urgent."

"Is there any urgent news what will go up?"

"The identity of Lord Archibald Dulcia's illegitimate child. It turned out to be Evanthe Gilmore."

"What?" parrot Blair was startled. He seemed to open his mouth but then closed it with his palm instead.

"It's a shock to hear that. Brother himself also knows how to behave when she's really angry," he said softly, then took a deep breath. "Maybe knowing she couldn't act carelessly, Selah chose to injure herself."

"So... she's not sick?" Blair asked quietly.

Aeneas nodded slowly. "Selah is injured. It wasn't that bad, but her shock knocked him out. After all, this is all too sudden."

Blair is silent for a long time, while Aeneas just watches him.

What is Blair thinking now? Aeneas is less able to guess. It's just that his face at this time showed a hint of guilt and worry.

Guilty for Selah, maybe. Worried for Evanthe, maybe. Either way, Aeneas hopes Blair does something for Evanthe soon so he doesn't have to work so hard.

"The healer has given her medicine and a sedative. If all is well, Selah will recover quickly," said Aeneas soothingly. "Brother doesn't need to worry about her. I can take good care of my wife."

"Oh, I didn't mean to take special notice of your… wife," Blair said awkwardly.

"Brother, you know that I wouldn't think that way of you," said Aeneas with a faint smile. "Thank you for the concern. I will tell Selah later."

"Yes, yes… I wish Lady Selah a speedy recovery."

Even so, Blair finally left. Aeneas ushers him out of the room and watches Blair's back disappear around a bend.

"Now, what are you going to do?" muttered Aeneas.

Blair has been visibly shaken since King Tristan's critical. The news about Selah's illness due to Evanthe's actions must have hit another corner of his heart. Currently, Blair is in a dilemma to immediately eliminate Evanthe.

Because Blair couldn't bear to see his brother's new married life disrupted at the same time because he still had some feelings for Selah.

Do it, Blair. Get over Evanthe guys and fall down, Aeneas muttered over and over.

This is an opportunity. Blair must weaken before Aeneas attacks him directly.

And, Aeneas is willing to sacrifice anything to weaken Blair.
