Extorting the Appraiser (Part 2)

"Stone City, how did you come to know about the Four Great Secrets?"

The appraisal elder was about to discuss something with me, but I beat him to the punch by asking my question first. He was quite irritated, and if it weren't for his current reliance on me, he wouldn't have given me the time of day.

However, I surprised him by mentioning the Four Great Secrets. He wasn't very familiar with these secretive pieces of information, so he was astonished that a young fellow like me knew about them.

"I accidentally came across knowledge about the four secrets and, out of curiosity, I decided to ask. I hope you will be kind enough to enlighten me."

"Stone City, the badge on your chest is the Dongfang Xing's Treasure Explorer Medal, isn't it?"

Ignoring my response, the appraisal elder carefully scrutinized me from head to toe before finally settling his gaze on the badge I was wearing.

This appraisal elder is truly impressive, I thought to myself. I had hidden the appearance of the Explorer's Medal and the Eagle Badge that Hunter Wang Wu had given me, and now the two badges appeared to be nothing more than ordinary iron pieces. Yet the appraisal elder was able to deduce that one of them was the Explorer's Medal from my language.

No wonder he is the top appraiser on the Tianmeng Continent. He is knowledgeable and formidable!

"Stone City, the person who knows the most about the Tianmeng Continent is Dongfang Xing, who has traveled the world. Even Dongfang Xing was unable to locate the legendary Four Great Secrets. It's likely that no one will ever be able to find these four secrets again. I can only tell you what I know."

The appraisal elder thought for a moment and gave me some brief information.

The Cloud Cascade Waterfall is a legendary place inhabited by the Double Winged Tribe. The city of Yunpu, which was built using Yunjing stones, randomly flies in the sky of the Tianmeng Continent. It is said that bathing under the Cloud Cascade Waterfall in Yunpu City can grant one the ability to fly.

The Hidden King Temple was the hiding place of a generation of sages 3,000 years ago. The Temple still contains the Heaven Realm, one of the five holy artifacts of the Tianmeng Continent. It allows one to glimpse the existence of all treasures and divine beasts.

The Phoenix Canyon is the dwelling place of the legendary Phoenix, a super divine beast. It contains rare treasures such as the "Heavenly Fire Wutong Wood," "Phoenix Feather," and "Phoenix Fire Crystal."

The Five Elements Land is located within the Elf Canyon and is the primary source of the Elemental Powers of the Elf Race. It is also the hatching ground for the Five Element Elves. However, it is sealed by the "Heavenly Five Elements Illusion Array" and can only be exited but not entered.

"Appraisal elder, besides the Five Elements Land, do you know the approximate locations of the other three great secrets?"

After listening to the elder's introduction, my eyes lit up and my mouth watered with anticipation. There are so many treasures that I must find a way to obtain them. I already have some leads on the Elf Canyon, and I am looking forward to exploring it.

"Stone City, searching for these four major secrets is as difficult as refining the "Heavenly Ascension Pill." If I knew the location of these four major secrets, I wouldn't be here as an appraiser. I advise you to give up on this idea, lest you end up like Dongfang Xing, who went crazy."

The old appraiser cut me off just as I was about to retort. He asked, "Stone City, where is your divine beast, the Dark Purple Sky Dragon?"

The old appraiser had become irritated with me. I couldn't let this Knight, Stone City, keep talking and leading me on. It was annoying.

I couldn't believe it. He must think I'm a fool. Even if I appraised five artifacts a day, I would only save fifty thousand gold coins at most. The appraiser begged pitifully.

"Really? It won't have any impact on my dragon?"

"I promise, it won't have any impact."

The appraiser suddenly saw an opportunity and looked at me with deep affection in his eyes, which were filled with tears.

The appraiser was so angry. This bad boy looked handsome and impressive, but he was actually a heartless person. He spoke ruthlessly even though the request was not too demanding, and the situation was not a big deal. If it wasn't for the rule in the imperial city that he couldn't attack players, he would have wanted to cast a banishing curse and kill this stinky kid to level 0.
