Chapter Six

Keyller's deadly expression turned dark. He suddenly moved his sword and, without taking it out of its scabbard, he pointed it towards Draco's neck. "Don't. Shit. With. Me." He coldly said like his voice was dug from an iceberg.

Draco chuckled as he c*cked his head and looked towards someone away from their table. "Isn't that your suspect? That someone who was trying to cooperate with you?"

Keyller gritted his teeth while eyeing Draco and giving him a bone-chilling look. After a while, he looked back, and there he was, five tables away and looking at him with serious eyes. Keyller suddenly lowered his sword and put it on his back. His gaze never leaves the man. He knows him. But why did Draco suspect him of Supremo's killer?

Maverick Morelli. The newly appointed leader of the Las Dagas group. One of the biggest mafia groups, not only in Italy but in other countries as well. He is famous in the underground business for his ruthlessness. He is truly intimidating in person!

Keyller didn't bother with Draco, leaving him alone on his table and walked towards the awaiting boss of Las Dagas. While walking he couldn't help but feel a shudder inside. This young man truly lives up to his expectations.

"Mr. Morelli." Keyller greeted him as he neared the table. "Thank you for coming," he started. He was waiting patiently for this meeting. He couldn't believe that he was finally able to see this man. But what Draco said confuses him. Did Morelli really kill Supremo? He suddenly became alert. This man is a force not to be reckoned with.

"Cut the greetings and get down to business. I don't have a whale of a time for chit-chat."

Keyller gulped and quickly invited Mr. Morelli into a VIP room to talk. In reality, Fedrico's gang is in the hot seat against politics. They needed a powerful backer that could shade them from these righteous politicians who sat their butts in their position doing nothing. Keyller devised this proposal and planned to tell Federico if his plan would work. No one, besides himself, knows about this plan. He was planning to surprise Federico and would announce it on their upcoming anniversary. But if Morelli was the killer of Supremo, could Keyller kill him?

Unbeknownst to him, Draco was secretly tailing and monitoring his every move while contacting Federico. He is planning to reveal the secret of the man that he loathed the most. He will expose Keyller for betraying the gang, killing his own members, and joining someone else's.

Not long after, Federico arrived and Draco led him into the monitor room to show Keyller and Morelli's talk through the CCTV camera. At that moment, they are already in agreement and shaking their hands with Keyller displaying a satisfied look on his face while Morelli has this slight smile on his.

Draco's face darkened but he felt accomplished as he saw Federico's disappointed expression. To flare up the flame, Draco added more fuel that couldn't make Keyller escape from this frame-up situation. The man knew who Keyller was talking to. Maverick Morelli, a man from hell that could destroy everything in a snap of his hand. And if Draco was telling him the truth, that Keyller killed Supremo and was planning to leave his gang, then he would not sit idle and let his right-hand escape unharmed. He must do something and stop him.

"Do the best that you can to capture that traitor and bring him to the black chamber," Federico instructed. He humped and with a dark and disappointed expression left the monitoring room. The black chamber was one of the deadliest torture rooms of their group that no one could endure.

Draco was left behind to follow what the boss said while smiling widely. Finally, the long-time dream that he manifested will finally come true. Keyller would go down the gutter and he would be the one standing next to his boss!

Meanwhile, after Keyller and Maverick's talk, they headed out. But the former frowned deeply as he noticed that there was no one inside the casino that was previously filled with gamblers. A strong foreboding feeling engulfed him inside. He turned his head to look around while his hand reached for the sword from his back. The surroundings were dim but Keyller was trained in the dark and it was not a hassle for him to fight in this small amount of light.

"Assholes!" he softly cursed. He knew that Draco was behind this. The man beside him, Morelli, also stood alert but there was an eerie smile hanging on his lips as he took out a dagger and swung it in his fingers.

"Your friend surely gave you a welcome present for me."

As he said this, Keyller slightly felt his head spinning, but he didn't pay attention to it. "He is not my friend. I won't get too close to a sore loser!"

Morelli chuckled then threw his dagger at someone who suddenly attacked them from the dark. He then ran towards his victim and pulled the dagger back before finishing him off by slashing his neck. Keyller didn't stay idle. His sword revealed its true form and slashed the enemy that was coming for him. He knew that Draco was behind this but he didn't recognize the men that he was fighting. These are not the members of their gang. It seemed like that guy prepared this to get rid of him. Lucky for them, each of their enemies have no guns. Draco is underestimating him.

After slashing his first victim, Keyller dashed at his second opponent only to stagger as he felt that his head was spinning faster and faster like a top. His fingers were starting to get numb. And he came to the realization of the drink that Draco had given him. That fucker! I will kill him!

While Keyller was down on his knees, other enemies were coming for him. They swarm like bees that have got loose. He raised his sword to guard, but his arm was trembling and it was slowly getting hard to move. His hand felt heavy. I was drugged! Draco calculated the time to make sure Keyller couldn't escape. Keyller knew that Draco wouldn't easily kill him, so he was thinking that the drugs he drank were not as fatal as he expected them to be.

There was only one explanation for this. Draco drugged him but the effect was only effective after fifteen or so minutes. He didn't know what kind of drugs that shit gave him, but Keyller wouldn't simply lose from someone like Draco. Keyller couldn't move his body as his knees scratched the cold ground. He took a deep breath to calm his mind.

"How does it feel that you're down, begging for mercy on your knees, Rafael?" It was Draco. His words were followed by roaring laughter but he was still nowhere to be seen. A fucking dog who only knows how to bark yet hides his tail between his legs.

Keyller's vision was getting blurred but he forced himself to stand while using his sword as a support. The enemy that was coming for him was stopped when Morelli threw the dagger and it pierced directly at his back. But he is still alive. Keyller quickly stabs his sword against the enemy's chest before kneeling back on the ground.

"F*ck you, Draco! You dare to pull this shit on me? I will not let you live, you scumbag!" Keyller roared as he staggered to stand again. Morelli was already at his side.

They were surrounded but both faces were not painted with fear. It is clear that Morelli was enjoying this.

"That is if you can escape my claws, Rafael! Do you think Federico will let you live after you betrayed the gang and killed your own members? Supremo treats you well, but what did you do in return? You bit the hands that feed you, you ungrateful bastard!"

Keyller's lips curled in amusement. He knew very well where this conversation was going. "Trying to put the blame on me, huh?"

After those words, Keyller took a forward step, and with a sweeping wide arc, he slashed the opponent that was near him. Blood gushed out from that sliced wound and he stumbled forward. But Keyller gracefully spun his sword and swiftly stabbed the man's heart.

He felt his head spinning but it was tolerable. Morelli, on the other hand, is busy handling five men at a time with his fist and dagger. This man was the king of fists. Either fighting close combat or marksmanship, he is peerless.

Keyller used his sword to balance himself after another numbing attack hit him. An enemy was charging toward him but Morelli took care of it. The latter was swift in his movements as he kicked the opponent's calf before stabbing him straight into his chest.

Keyller was astonished as he dragged himself into the corner and let Morelli fight for him. The opponent couldn't even charge forward by a one-meter radius before they landed lifeless on the now bloody floor. Morelli was now using Keyller 's sword. He skillfully slashed and cut his opponent that was coming after them.

"Is that all you can do? Cower in the corner while relying on somebody to fight for you?"

Keyller's bloodshot eyes narrowed as he scanned the dim room looking for Draco. He was getting pissed but the drugs made him weak, he couldn't stand up anymore.

"Cower? Are you talking about yourself who's hiding in the shadows while attacking? Isn't that cowardly? If you want to fight, just fight. Don't waste my time. I still have more important things to do than to spend it playing with you!"

Keyller curled the corner of his lips when he heard Morelli speak. But he could only lean his head on the corner as his vision was getting blurry and his mind clouded with heaviness. The last thing he heard was Draco's loud scream as Morelli stabbed his crotch before returning to him saying, "I don't mind you being on my team. You can cast your revenge on them when you wake up!"
