Chapter 4

Yeong?

I sit up straight.

What is going on?

How is this possible?

He walks toward me, and my heart skips a beat. I'm so lost I don't know whether I should cry or be happy, hug him or kiss him. I take a deep breath, but my face shows it all.

"Are you okay? You are sweety so much," he says, swiping his hand on my forehead.

I hold his wrist and look at his hand. It feels so real. Please don't tell me it's a dream. I think as I look up, my eyes filled with tears. I don't think I can bear the pain of losing you again. "Hey, what happened?" he asks looking a bit concerned.

"Yeong I..." I start but get interrupted by the door opening once again. And a tall man with a lot of energy in his step walks in. "Thank god you are alive," he says walking up to me and giving me a tight hug, followed by a slap on the shoulder which also felt real, so maybe this isn't a dream after all. But does that mean I traveled back in time somehow?

"Minki cut the guy some slack, he fainted a few hours ago and he's still recovering," Yeong defends me, while I keep holding his wrist.

"And you to Jung can let me go now, I'm not gonna disappear," he says, cutting me deep without knowing. "No." I simply answer.

Wait this could also mean that Yeong's suicide was all dream, but a dream this long. I don't know what is what anymore. But just thought of it all beating just a dream, I feel a sharp pain in my head. "Seriously dude I dude I go away for 2 days and I come back to this," Minki complains.

Minki has been our manager since day one and is like an elder brother. He looks at his watch "Yeong it's time for your audition," he says and Yeong frees himself and walks after him.

"If I finish early I'll come and pick you up," Yeong says and I feel a wave of anxiety build up in me as he leaves the room.

But I don't say anything.

As the door closes behind them, I fall back against the headrest. That was one fucking dream, or was it?

Could it be that I saw the future? While that's one absurd thought I need to verify this theory. Suddenly she pops into my mind, Lee Ari. Yeong never mentioned her to me before, so if she exists, that it truly happened and I somehow time travel.

Can you hear yourself? Time-travel?

But what else could it be? I need to figure this out.

I look around and luckily find my phone among my other belongings on the side table. I unlock it with very shaky hands. I type in her name in my social media account and a bunch of accounts pop up, I look through them begging internally that she wouldn't exist, but she does, and I'm fucked!
