Unexpected

I was on the rooftop before Mina but didn't have to wait too long for her.

I gave her a big wave of my hand when she stepped out from the stairs and she came over.

This is where we always used to sit when we hung out on the rooftop.

Then I noticed she did not bring her lunch box as she stood in front of me.

"I think you forgot to bring your lunch, you clumsy girl"

"Hehe. Sorry I have to go soon but I just wanted to talk to you a bit before that"

Oh. So we were not gonna have lunch here together.

"Right. Whatssup? Everything's okay?"

"Yeah, I feel great. You look good too"

"You can tell?"

"Of course! I can always tell. You look fitter and happier since we met last time"

"Yeah, just trying something new"

"That's great"

Then she sat down next to me, so close that her bare arms were brushing against mine.

"Nana, I want to tell you something"

"Sure"

"I know it will come out eventually, but could you keep it a secret for a while?"

"Of course. Whatever it is"

"Lend me your ear"

She then cupped my ear with her hand. I thought it was kinda cute that she did this as we were all alone on the rooftop and there was no need for this. She's such a child.

And then she whispered.

"I started dating Tasha"
