CHAPTER TWELVE (FATHER, DAUGHTER, DESTINY)

"I am not asking for your permission." King Bajju said. He was feeling very bad for hurting his darling daughter.

"Father, what did my sister do?" Princess Nenma asked.

"Yes, what did she do?" The queen asked already crying.

"I won't tell anyone that. All I will say is that she has violated all the rules of being a king and can not be crowned because of that." King Bajju replied.

"I won't let this happen. The throne is mine and I will never allow anyone to take it away from me, even if they are my family." Princess Memma said to her father.

"Are you trying to say that you will take over the throne by force?" King Bajju asked.

"Yes, and I will take out anyone who stands in my way." Princess Memma replied getting furious.

King Bajju's blood boiled at his daughter's insolence and lack of regret for her actions.

"Then let me see what you do." King Bajju said to her.

Princess Memma got ready to fight using her powers.

"I don't need to sing because if I do the entire kingdom will collapse and everyone will die. And there isn't a kingdom without people and I can't rule without people."

"I didn't realize that you have become stronger but no matter how strong you are, you can never be stronger than your father." King Bajju said and started singing.

The princess sang from within her mind without opening her mouth, the objects were able to hear her song and obey. The music started controlling metals even when she was only gesturing with her hand. She arranged the metals like swords and attacked her father at once with it before he could even throw a musical note at her.

King Bajju fell to the ground and gasped as blood started coming out from every part of his body that was stabbed by the metals.

His eyes turned red and his body slowly started turning pale. Princess Memma realized what she had done and fell on her knees and tears came rushing down her eyes.

Princess Nenma was already by her father's side screaming and crying. The entire people present there were crying as well and the queen was trying her best to keep her husband's eyes open.

"So it was you." King Bajju said as blood came out of his mouth as well. Sadly he realized that the daughter whom he loved and cherished the most was the one destined to end his life.

He couldn't blame her for what she did, it has been written and even he couldn't change that.

Tears came out of his eyes and he slowly closed them as he breathed his last.
