Learning and The Asura's Instinct.

At the training grounds, situated on a mountain, the climate was not much different from outside; the sun shone and the wind blew over everyone. However, the air at the Sparring Field was cold, as if it were night.

The crowd maintained a deep silence, holding their breath as they awaited the start of the confrontation between Fang Xue and Yuan Tengfei. Only the sound of the wind shaking a few trees could be heard.

While Fang Xue evaluated her opponent, Yuan Tengfei did the same. He was surprised to realize that Fang Xue, a girl at the 6th Level of Body Training, was so dangerous. After all, he was an 8th Level cultivator himself.

After a few seconds of visual confrontation, Fang Xue gave a confident and excited smile, though it was hidden behind the veil covering her face. Realizing this, Yuan Tengfei's determination for the upcoming duel increased, knowing it would be an intense fight, and he might even lose.

The silent crowd witnessed the rabbit in Fang Xue's arms jumping to the ground, and in the blink of an eye, Fang Xue herself disappeared. Yuan Tengfei, who was focused on Fang Xue, tightly gripped his silver spear with both hands, preparing for the confrontation.

"Peng..." The sound of metal colliding with metal echoed through the Sparring Field. The tip of the spear collided with Fang Xue's sword blade, and sparks flew in all directions, briefly illuminating the surprised faces of the spectators.

Fang Xue staggered back a few steps, but quickly regained her balance. She was excited to have finally found a worthy opponent.

Yuan Tengfei, on the other hand, felt a chill run down his spine. He realized he had underestimated Fang Xue and knew he would have to give his all to win.

Yuan Tengfei wielded his spear again and ran towards Fang Xue, attacking quickly and accurately. However, Fang Xue, even though less skilled, managed to dodge the fast and accurate strikes and tried to counter-attack with agility.

The fight intensified, with the two opponents alternating between attack and defense. Fang Xue skillfully evaded Yuan Tengfei's attacks and countered with precise and elegant strikes. With each attack, it became evident that Fang Xue was slowly improving.

Yuan Tengfei attempted to strike Fang Xue with his spear, but she was so fast that she managed to avoid his strikes.

The astonished crowd watched the scene before them, unable to look away from the battle between the two cultivators. It was rare to see a 6th Level cultivator challenging an opponent two levels above, and Fang Xue was proving herself to be a true heroine at that moment.

In addition, Fang Xue's Hanfu and loose sleeves swayed with every movement, mesmerizing the spectators even more. The nine red petal lotuses on her body emitted a feeling of danger every second, like a rose—beautiful yet deadly.

Finally, after a few minutes of intense fighting, Fang Xue managed to disarm Yuan Tengfei with a quick and precise strike. The crowd erupted in applause as Fang Xue breathed heavily.

That had not been an easy fight; on the contrary, Fang Xue had given her all. Every part of her body worked at 100%, her brain analyzed everything at high speed, and plans and strategies were created and discarded in seconds.

Fang Xue fought with all her heart and soul, eager to learn as much as she could. Even her Asura lineage helped in this process.

During the fight, Fang Xue could feel her Asura lineage circulating on its own, not to activate or give her an increase in strength, but to aid her in learning.

In the midst of the battle, Fang Xue sensed the best moments to strike, as if it were an instinct engraved in the deepest part of her DNA—another gift from her Asura lineage.

It was as Li Qiang had said before: Asuras were a race that possessed a battle prowess that defied logic, and this sense of fighting was also ingrained in Fang Xue's DNA.

This sparring session clarified a lot about Fang Xue's fighting style. She felt like something was missing; delivering quick and precise sword strikes alone wasn't enough.

However, this was just a feeling. Fang Xue knew she had much to improve in her fighting style, but she didn't have all the answers to her questions. Fang Xue would have to fight more and explore her potential even further.

Snapping out of her thoughts, Fang Xue looked at Yuan Tengfei lying on the ground with a calm and indifferent expression, as if nothing had happened. She turned around and walked toward the exit of the Sparring Field, leaving behind the excited crowd.

However, before she could take more than two steps, something grabbed her ankle and pulled her back. Fang Xue fell to the ground, surprised and disoriented.

Fang Xue looked back and saw Yuan Tengfei struggling to get up, his eyes filled with fury.

"You think you can beat me and just walk away so easily?" shouted Yuan Tengfei, his fists clenched in anger.

Fang Xue stared at him with her cold and calculating eyes. She slowly got up, maintaining an upright and confident posture despite her exhaustion.

"You were the strongest opponent I've ever faced. I gained a lot from this fight and need to assimilate what I've learned. If you want, we can fight again another day. But I'll warn you: next time, I'll win even more easily than today. And if you cling to that useless pride, you'll never be a worthy opponent again," said Fang Xue, coldly and slowly, before turning around and walking toward the library.

Stunned, Yuan Tengfei watched Fang Xue walk away, pondering the words she had left.

He knew he needed to train more and better prepare himself. He never wanted to feel the shame of being defeated by someone who, at first glance, seemed inferior to him.

A new determination grew inside Yuan Tengfei, along with an admiration for Fang Xue—a true genius. He recognized that his pride was useless, and he lacked the strength to sustain it.

The battle between Fang Xue and Yuan Tengfei left a lasting impression on everyone present that day. It served as a reminder that strength isn't always related to cultivation level but rather to skill, strategy, and determination. Fang Xue showed she possessed these qualities in abundance.

While the crowd and Yuan Tengfei were lost in their thoughts, a rabbit with a proud and arrogant expression hopped quickly towards Fang Xue, making everyone look at the small animal strangely.

"Damn brat, how dare you leave me behind!" cursed Li Qiang in her heart, despite displaying a proud and arrogant expression on the outside.
