Perfect Balance between Saber and Sword; and Using the Bloodstones.

'You noticed, didn't you?' Li Qiang interrupted Fang Xue as she ran through the forest.

'Yes, thanks to the evolution of my lineage, my senses have improved a lot, especially in detecting murderous intentions. And those four pursuers have a lot of intention directed towards me,' Fang Xue replied, laughing at the end.

Since leaving Cloud City, Fang Xue had noticed that four people were following her, and they were definitely not friendly. However, she was not worried as she evaluated their cultivation levels and knew they were not a real threat.

'Li'er, can you help me escape from them? After all, I want to train in the use of the Sabre and Sword and then use these pursuers as test subjects before attacking the bandit camp,' Fang Xue spoke coldly, planning to use her pursuers as training dummies.

'It's easy. Use your Ghost Steps and your Asura Energy to hide your aura and breath,' Li Qiang suggested an efficient way for Fang Xue to lose her pursuers.

Fang Xue followed Li Qiang's instructions and used her Ghost Steps to drastically increase her speed and her Asura Energy to hide her aura and breath.

When Fang Xue did this, the four pursuers were surprised when the red dot on the compass the leader was holding simply disappeared!

This compass was an item given by the Elder of the Xia Family, and its function was to trap a person's aura and breath and show their location within a radius of 50 meters.

"Damn, how did she just disappear!?" Xia Hong, the leader of the pursuers, shouted, looking at the compass again, but the red dot did not appear even after a few minutes.

"She must have realized we were following her and used an item to hide herself. Let's continue walking in the forest, and eventually, we will find her," said one of the cultivators next to Xia Hong.

"You're right, let's go," Xia Hong calmed down and continued to move deeper into the forest, unaware that a pair of gray eyes were watching everything.

'How did you know Asura Energy had this function?' Fang Xue asked Li Qiang, intrigued by the discovery.

'Just a guess. I had never seen this Asura Energy before, but it resembles some other energy I have encountered in my life, so I deduced that it would have the same ability as them,' Li Qiang replied calmly, though she was 90% sure her guess was correct.

'You could have warned me that you weren't sure,' Fang Xue rolled her eyes, but was still grateful for Li Qiang discovering such a unique function of Asura Energy.

'Let's not waste any more time, let's find a demonic beast. I want to test my sword and saber skills and, at the same time, explore more of Asura Energy,' Fang Xue walked quickly towards the source of a distant roar.

It didn't take long to reach the location, a clearing where two two-meter-tall black bears were fighting. Their cultivation was at the 7th level of Body Tempering, perfect for Fang Xue's training.

She approached the bears, who stopped fighting when they felt her presence. When they looked at her, their eyes turned red, desiring to devour her.

Fang Xue didn't care about the fierce looks of the bears. She put Li Qiang on the ground, took out a sword and a saber from her spatial ring. The sword was stolen from one of Hu Wen's pursuers, and the saber from Zhao Shen. The latter was left behind by the Third Elder, and Fang Xue didn't hesitate to take it to avoid accidents.

'After all, what if a cultivator stumbled upon the saber and got hurt?' Fang Xue thought, nodding to her own good deed, without any ulterior motive.

Although Fang Xue was thinking, she still remained alert to the bears' movements, watching them with piercing eyes and a firm stance. She knew that, despite being weaker than her, the animals were unpredictable and could attack at any moment. When one of the bears took a step forward, Fang Xue lunged forward, swinging her sword and saber to keep them at bay.

The bears advanced with ferocity, and Fang Xue dodged with agility, jumping back while defending herself with the blade of her sword and saber. She could feel the weight of each bear's attacks, each one bringing a load of force, reaching even to the level of 8th Level Body Tempering cultivators.

Fang Xue moved quickly, spinning back and forth, alternating between the sword and saber with skill. She launched a series of precise strikes, tearing the bears' skin with the saber and cutting through the air with the sword.

The animals roared in pain and fury, but Fang Xue was not intimidated. She focused on her technique, finding a fluid rhythm that allowed her to deliver powerful strikes while avoiding the bears' attacks.

The fight lasted several minutes, with Fang Xue dancing in circles around the bears, each movement precise and calculated. She knew she needed to keep her strength under control, allowing the battle to continue long enough, so she could practice her moves.

Still, Fang Xue could feel the growing tension in her body, adrenaline pulsing through her veins as she focused on her movements.

Finally, Fang Xue found an opening, a moment of weakness in one of the bears. She moved quickly, delivering a precise strike with the saber that cut deeply into the animal's flesh. The bear screamed in pain, but Fang Xue did not hesitate, advancing and attacking with the sword in a series of quick and precise movements.

Not long after, the bear fell, dead. The second bear was wounded and tired, but when it saw Fang Xue kill the other of its kind, it tried to flee. However, Fang Xue pursued it, her movements precise and relentless, until finally, the bear fell, dead, with its head severed.

Fang Xue still stood for a moment, breathing lightly, feeling a bit of sweat running down her face. She looked at the sword and saber in her hands, feeling a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction that she had never felt before.

'It seems as if I finally found the perfect balance in my fighting style,' thought Fang Xue, realizing that the sword fight was good, but that she also felt the need for strong and heavy attacks. With the saber in her left hand, she felt a sense of balance and fullness in her fighting.

Li Qiang, who was watching the fight from outside, was delighted with the way Fang Xue wielded the sword and saber. It was as if fighting with both instruments was natural for her.

Li Qiang had always known that Fang Xue had talent with the sword, but she also felt that something was missing in Fang Xue's fighting style. However, now she saw that Fang Xue had found the perfect balance in her fighting style.

"Let's not waste time, let's continue to hunt for other demonic beasts," Fang Xue said to Li Qiang, excited to continue improving with her saber and sword.

"Of course, but before that, use the Blood Stones on these bears. Even if their blood essences are weak, it's better than nothing," Li Qiang reminded Fang Xue of the Blood Stones.

Fang Xue nodded and took a Blood Stone, but she didn't exactly know what to do and looked at Li Qiang in confusion, who understood Fang Xue's confusion.

"Open the body of one of the bears and place this Blood Stone in its heart, and see the magic happen," Li Qiang explained to Fang Xue, who now understood why no one had discovered the other use of these Blood Stones yet. After all, who would open the body of a demonic beast and put a stone in its heart?

Fang Xue didn't waste time, grabbing her saber and easily opened the bear's body. Blood and internal organs scattered everywhere, but her face remained impassive. The Asura Dress absorbed the blood that sprayed on Fang Xue, leaving her completely clean.

The bear's heart, twice the size of a human heart, appeared in Fang Xue's vision. She made a small opening and placed the Blood Stone inside, watching as a faint red light began to emanate from the stone. Shortly after, the stone began to suck the bear's blood at surprising speed, drying it out completely in less than 30 seconds.

The Blood Stone, now darker and heavier, seemed to have absorbed all the blood from the two-meter bear. Fang Xue repeated the process with the second bear, looking with surprise at the dry bodies when she finished.

"We will need at least four more demon beast bodies from the 9th Level of Body Training to completely fill this stone," exclaimed Fang Xue, holding the Blood Stone, which was now a dark red color and significantly heavier.

"There's no rush. Let's stay here for at least a week. That will be enough time to fill at least one stone," Li Qiang replied, agreeing with Fang Xue.

"Alright, let's go! I'm excited to see how much I'll improve after a week using the saber and sword," Fang Xue said, with a hint of eagerness in her voice. She began to run in a direction in the forest with Li Qiang in her arms.
