The "Robber"

/Riccardo's POV/

I woke up from my sweet sleep when my alarm went off. I lazily shifted to my phone to switch it off. My head is aching so much, and I was feeling kind of dizzy. When my head became slightly better, I realized that I wasn't wearing anything, and this wasn't my room. I tried to really recall what happened last night, but all I could remember was Regina cheating on me. Frustrated, I rubbed my face and lay on my chest. However, there was a piece of paper on the other side of the bed. I sat properly to read whatever it was.

"Maybe, Karma? Whatever it was, I gave you a good time. And the €500 consider it as a payback^_^"

Images started popping up inside my head. I was at a random club. Obviously, I drank too much. But the moment that girl's figure came into my mind, I realized that I should not have done it. She looked so young. Surely, she is a teenager. 'Shit!' Did I sleep with a minor?

***Flashback***

After pulling her into the room, I pinned her to the door. No one dared to break the kiss. Our tongues danced together, making my pain disappear into thin air. I moved my lips toward her neck, seeing her lack of oxygen to suck.

"P. . .Please. . ." she whimpered. I rested my arm on the door for support as I applied more pressure on her neck. Her moans became louder, and she suddenly pushed me.

"What's wrong?" I slurred the words.

"This is wrong," her little hands were still on my chest. Her breath was uneven, her chest going up and down along with the perfect breasts it carried, her swollen pink lips trembling, not knowing what to say, and the cute blush that covered her chubby cheeks. She looks so hot, so tempting and so cute.

"Why?" My hands were brushing her bare thighs.

"You will regret it," she looked dead into my eyes. I locked her long hair behind her ear before fixing her bangs. Her brown orbs still pierced through my soul.

"You know someone said to me that brown eyes are the most boring eyes ever," I slowly moved a finger to her collarbone. "I guess she hasn't seen yours," I smiled faintly.

"Is she someone special?" she asked, and if I'm seeing correctly, there was a sight smirk on the corner of her lips. I didn't answer her. I just smashed my lips on hers, earning the euphoric feeling of her magical lips again. But she pushed me again.

"You will regret it so much," her eyes were telling me other things.

"My life is full of regrets," saying that, I wrapped her legs around my torso, taking her to bed.

***Flashback end***

'So it was her,' an unconscious smile crept on my lips. Why? I don't actually know. I then shook my head and got off of the bed. The sound of something being dropped from the bed caught my attention. I kneeled to pick it up, and it was an earring. It must be hers'. My lips kept curving upwards without my permission. I put it on the bedside table and went to the bathroom. After taking a quick shower, I went out of the room wearing my clothes. I didn't forget the earring and her letter.

***Time skip***

I'm now at my office going through some files. It helps me get my mind busy with something. Regina has already called ten times, and I'm not ready to pick it up. That's when I heard a knock on my door. It was Santiago.

"Dude, someone–"

"Good morning, Detective," you have got to be kidding me.

"I'm going to leave," saying that he went out.

"What a surprise! Except for it is not pleasant," I tilted my head examining her. She wore a black mini skirt along with a black top. She left her curly short hair open tucking some of it behind her ear.

"At least, I surprised you," she said, sitting on the chair.

"What can I help you?" I sighed as those words came out of my mouth.

"Some thief robbed some of my clients last night," she crossed her arms. My eyes were tracing her whole body until I saw a dark purple bruise on her collarbone. My stomach twitched at the sight. But I had to be the professional enemy.

"You know you came to a police station, right?" I tried to maintain eye contact with her even though all my muscles are tensed.

"I didn't know people go to a hospital for a robbery," she raised a brow. As much as I wanted to keep my eyes on hers' they betrayed me and made their way to that mark. The Mark where someone claimed her, the mark that showed she belonged to someone. My heart was beating fast now.

"My eyes are up here, Detective," there was a sly grin on her lips. "Or do you prefer watching my breasts?"

"Was it Edoardo or your toy?" the words slipped out of my mouth. I couldn't control it.

"What?!" she looked puzzled.

"Never mind," I moved my gaze to my computer.

"What are you talking about?"

"I said never mind," I slightly raised my voice.

"No, tell me," she looked offended.

"You said some of your clients were robbed,"

"You said 'Was it Edoardo or your toy?'," She said head eyes widening.

"Where—"

"Can you cut the crap?!" she slammed the table as she got up, glaring at me.

"Let's talk about the reason you came here, shall we?" I said, gritting my teeth

"Not until you finish your question!"

"Fine, don't tell me!" I smiled at her, shifting my attention to my computer.

"Okay," she bent down and disconnected the cords of my computer.

"What the fuck?!" I looked at her annoyed.

"Finish your question," she held the socket.

"Oh, that's how you want to play?" I twisted my neck as I opened my laptop. She quickly closed it and took it from my table. Before I could grab my phone, she snatched it away.

"I'm waiting,"

"You need to grow up, Eliana," I rubbed my temple.

"It's not getting you anything,"

"I was talking about your neck," I lazily looked at her. Her face dropped but she was quick enough to turn it into a smirk.

"So, you were jealous?" her smirk grew wider.

"What will you do if I am?" I returned the smirk approaching her slowly. She was stunned by the response. "Will you leave them for me?" I'm now in front of her.

"I can add you to my list," she wiggled her brows.

"What if I want a new list?" while she was trying to process what I just said, I snatched my phone from her hands. "Stop falling for everything to hear," I frowned sitting back. She put the laptop on the table.

"So, who robbed your clients? I mean who dared to do that?" I am fake amused.

"That's your job,"

"Tell me something about this 'robber'," I made a quote sign, getting a piece of paper.

"It's girl," she stopped.

"You are a girl, does that make you suspect?"

"Long hair, and bangs. That makes her different,"

"How did you find out?" my suspicion grew after hearing those words.

"The bartender told me this morning. And all the clients who were robbed explained what she looked like," she crossed her arms again.

"Okay, I need to talk to them," I got up from my chair and wore my coat. She understood what this meant and came with me.

***Time skip***

After questioning some of her clients, I found out that it was the same girl who I slept with. But what I still don't understand is why Eliana chose to report to me. Is this her other way of distracting me? The final person I went to ask was the bartender. Eliana was with me the whole time which annoyed the hell out of me.

"So, you said that you saw the girl," he nodded. "What did she look like?"

"Come on, Detective. You have asked this exact question to 17 different people," it was Eliana. I just looked at the bartender for an answer.

"She looked young. She was short as long as I remember, like Ms. Eliana,"

"Okay, I am not short!" she pointed her finger at him.

"Any other thing I already know about the bang and long hair thing,"

"You were making out with her," he blurted out which made her widen her eyes.

"Wow, I did not expect that!" she raised a brow giving me a knowing smile.

"Shut up!"

"This means you were the last person she was with?" she tilted her head trying to connect some dots. "Did you just make out or you took her to a room?"

"We went to a room," I don't know why but I felt guilty.

"Let's go then, shall we?" she said backing up for me to lead her the way. This whole time she was biting her lips to prevent her laughter. I rolled my eyes at her and walked past.

"So you took her to this room?" she scanned the room. The room wasn't clean. It was how I exactly left it this morning. "You had a nice time," she turned to me, "The bed says it all," her smile made me regret what I did.

"Let's get to work," I said trying to find something I don't know. 'Get your shit together!' I scolded myself. Soon enough I found something that caught my eye. Putting my gloves on, I picked it up and started rubbing it on my fingers to know what it was.

"What is it?" she came closer to me attempting to see what I was holding.

"Contact lens," I put it inside a plastic container.

"Brown?" she scoffed. "Boring," she made a disgusted look. I just ignored her since she was doing nothing but talk. "What will Regina say about this?" she sat on the bed and I chose to mind my own business. "Martin said she looked young," she paused for a second. "Did you sleep with a minor?"

"Where is your boyfriend?" I turned to her, tired of what she was saying. Her expression changed immediately but she put her smile back on.

" Why?" she spread her legs while resting her elbows on the bed.

"I wanted to show him how his girl is openly flirting with other men!" I gritted my teeth.

"I was—" Her sentence was halted when I straddled her.

"Let me do my job!" I said in a low voice. Her eyes darkened at my sentence as I left her to continue my job. She went out of the room and I finally got my peace back.

'what an annoying bitch!' I thought
