Once I ended my call with Riccardo, I was fuming. How dare Edoardo think that he could use a child to break me and Riccardo apart? But again, he is a psycho.
I decided to go to Edoardo's office to confront him. I needed him to know that I wasn't afraid of him and that I wouldn't let him ruin my life.
I drove to his office building and marched into the lobby, demanding to see him. The receptionist tried to stop me, but I was too angry to listen. I pushed past her and stormed into Edoardo's office.
He was sitting at his desk, looking up at me with surprise. "Well, well, well," he said, standing up to greet me. "If it isn't my Amorina, what brings you here?"
"I'm here to talk about Tessa," I said, my voice cold and hard. "I know that you're using her to try to break me and Riccardo apart."
Edoardo laughed dismissively. "I have no idea what you're talking about," he said. "I'm simply trying to help a friend in need."
